Bummer, it just sounds very unusual as the graphics is pretty tightly integrated with the other chipset functions (it's on the same silicon AFAIK). Not intimately familiar with the 945 series, but IIRC the northbridge contains graphics.

This, check caps thoroughly. Any bulging/electrolyte leaking on the board is a sure sign of flaky failures. Any caps in the power/signal path of the video would easily kill an onboard graphics. Also double check the BIOS to make sure the onboard is on.

A kit lens or a 50mm f/1.8 II is already ~$70-100. I wish you luck :) You might want to look around at the 20D-30D series on craigslist, you can probably find one with a kit lens for that amount, but you won't get much more than that :(

To be fair, you can use this phone natively on Straight Talk for ~$45 a month "unlimited" everything.

I think the reasoning is that the device can be sold in different geos, so stocking specific cables to specific geos is an overhead cost... :confused::confused: That's what I've heard from some 'internal' musings, but I think it is silly.
