Power outage monitor that works? Known reliable from personal experience?

Depending on location of the outlet, that might not be possible (at least legally). The only times that I've had issues is on a shared circuit. If it's a dedicated circuit just for the fridge/freezer, and it's tripping, its a bad GFCI, wiring issue, or fault with the fridge/freezer.

Looks good. Wish that I could get back to just a single desk. I have an L-shaped desk as I have 3 PC's setup.

    Need new keyboard

I ended up getting the Logitech G815. And from past experience, the Logitech software just works. No need to "record a macro" just to save a string of text, among other things. Super happy so far.

any software better than DVD Identifier 5.2 that can read what country makes the disc?

BluRay region codes are different and they are much more universal than DVD. And until you get a disc that wont play, this seems like a huge waste of time (yours and ours). Region A: North America, South America, U.S. Territories, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia...

    New router for 2.5g

I saw that Asus as well. Definetly not paying $800. If I can't find a decent router with LAN ports, a standalone switch could work as well. I'm just hoping to have it all in a single unit. Less clutter.

    New router for 2.5g

Thinking about upgrading my current router to a model that supports 2.5g LAN. Currently looking at this one TP-Link Tri-Band BE9300. Anyone have any experience or recommendations for other models? Thanks

anyone here have the Be Quiet 901? Opinions?

I've always been a Cooler Master guy until I needed to find a large case for my media server. I went with the Phanteks Enthoo 719. I've been very happy with that case. Haven't noticed any build quality issues at all. My main rig is due for an upgrade as well, and Im think about retiring that...

I was just checking out the K100 as well. Looks like refurbished items only have a 90 replacement only warranty. New items have a 2 year warranty.

No audio on some programs but not others on two devices using Yamaha RX-V385... I have no ideas?

A TV restart is likely unnecessary. As you are dealing with two different sources, I'd suspect the AVR.

    What were your favorite Speakers?

I used the older 4.1 version of these for years and years ( Creative Cambridge SoundWorks FourPointSurround FPS2000 Digital 4.1 ). I moved from those to the Logitech Z-5500 (which are still working and were recently moved to storage) as I finally made the move to an AVR.

This was expected right? Something to do with resources and production. I don't recall specifics, just that chip production was expected to decrease like the first half of this year

Fideco dual bay docking station doesn't read drives. Dead?

Case that holds more drives than define 7 XL

The Phanteks Enthoo 719 will hold 12x3.5 and 3x2.5 with the basic layout. I could easily add 6 more 3.5 drives and likely 4-6 more with a little modification. It's a very roomy case with lots of ventilation and fan placement locations.

    SAS card options

I'm currently using a LSI 9207-8i At some point this year, I will be needing to expand my storage. Adding another LSI 9207-8i is not an option as the only other available PCI-E slots are x1. Is there a similar card, which will function in Win10, and has 16 ports?

HAF 932 stuffing the maximum amount of HDDs in it

I'm using the IcyDock 5n3 bays as well. I have 2 in my current media server (which is getting rebuilt this weekend and will no longer be used) and a NIB spare. You need good airflow to control drive temps, aside from that, I've had zero issues .

Terrible HDD packaging from Newegg - where should I buy drives?

So you are back where you started. You buy local, or you shop online. Most online stores ship poorly from time to time. But even with the bad packaging that I sometimes get from Amazon, I've never had a faulty drive. Having said that, you can buy directly to WD (or other manufacturers), and...

I would maybe overlook the issue for just a monitor. My only experience with LG is for my new TV. Their support ran me in circles for days and still haven't resolved the issue. The TV won't login to my LG account, which you have to use in order to install apps (kinda the whole point of a...

    Best looking 27” 1440p monitor?

In a 27, you would be looking for an IPS panel. And assuming the monitor is calibrated, brightness, colors, and such should be identical (or at least very close). > https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/best/1440p-gaming-monitors

    HDMI 1.4 wont produce 60HZ 2560x1440

More likely how it was implemented. I've seen this with some older nVidia cards as well. They will output the resolution over DP, but not over HDMI. Although I guess the difference here being that nVidia is often vague about their specs, and what you posted above would seem to indicate that...
