A "Legend" Reborn: Logitech Brings Back the MX518 Gaming Mouse

NFL Must End TV Blackouts or Lose Its Antitrust Exemption

The NFL is just the organization that oversees the league. They are actually "not for profit", which is different. Their money comes from the teams. The teams already pay taxes on their income just like anyone else. So the money going to the NFL itself is already taxed. Also, even as a...

Eidos Montreal Admits Deus Ex Boss Error

I just picked up the game and found the first boss fight incredibly frustrating. I'm trying to play a no-kill playthrough, yet I have to make sure I always have a few guns/grenades on me because I don't know when the boss fights will happen. It takes up precious inventory space. Very lame. I'm...

Report: How Risky is Cloud Computing?

Still, I have nothing I care about getting into the open. So, for me, security isn't a concern. It's more about reliability. Information being stored by Google is more available and reliable than stuff I store on my own PC, so they win. If something better comes along, I will switch.

Report: How Risky is Cloud Computing?

As far as my calendar and contacts go, my life is in Google. I do have backups, but the central location is Google. I'm sure ten years down the line, it won't be a great idea, but for right now, I love it. Setting up my Palm Pre was a snap thanks to this. As far as the hacker thing - meh...

Encryption Saves Man From Jail Time

I dunno, this seems kind of iffy. We allow police into houses without an owner's permission - all you need is a warrant. I don't see how this is much different. Personally, I think he should have been forced to give them access or face more jail time, especially since he already admitted guilt...
