Thanks man, I did try those settings but its a no go for me. Even if this monitor was $400 I wouldnt keep it due to dimness and the 4k bug (tried 2 different DP cables) which I couldnt get rid of. PG27AQN is on deck though.
So I ended up buying this recently and Im just not happy with it. It is too dim and the colors dont look right in game cause I have to turn brightness and black equalizer to 100. (I tried everything in between). Whites are more like dirty grey so I knew it might be an issue.
The HDMI bug doesnt...
As title states, Im looking for a Ryzen AM5 combo.
My wish list would be
7800x3d
ddr5 cl30 ram 32gb or 64gb
mobo with wifi and BT
I live in central NJ for local or ship to me.
My kitchen LED recessed lights are about 7 yrs old and I havent had to change a single one. I then did the rest of the house about 4 yrs ago and still not a single one has gone bad. HALO brand in 3xxxk (warm) at Home Depot is all I use in case anyone was curious cause I cant stand the 5000k...
Exactly. Most of the people on this forum are old dudes that care more about picture quality than rank so you will be talking to a wall.
Gaming specific monitors will destroy any tv IF you are super competitive where every frame/hz/ms counts. I mean nobody is using HDR to rank up lol
Id think its impossible for a family of four to stay under 1.2TB a month. Just think about 4k streaming devices, streaming on the TV/ipad/iphone, gaming and then of course just internet usage. What about all the people that also work from home?
If that youtube ideo doesnt help then no opinions here will because I doubt people own both. Bottom line is everyones eyes like different things so you are gonna have to pick and then report back your opinion cause these are the two Im interested in too.
Both panels offer a 25" 1080p mode so you can game at that resolution and then surf the web at 1440p. You will get the better ppi so 1080 will look better than a typical panel according to the pics on Asus' site.
Thank you for the response. OUt of curiosity if you wanted to play 1920x1080 does it shrink the screen or stretch it out? I saw an Asus that shrunk from 27" down to 25" with bars around the image just to achieve 1920x1080. I just thought it was a cool feature.
Cool concept for people in NYC but Id be afraid of trying to stop within 4ft and I roll into an intersection while a car decides to run a red. You would be helpless
Alexa barely understands anything I ask unless its "turn on lights". I asked for Beastie Boys songs the other day and it kept showing me movies with the word beast in it.
People that use 42 are in it for the immersive experience of single player games so frames and input lag arent their #1 priority. These people mostly suck at FPS games. One size doesnt fit all.
Ive said the 4090 price isnt too crazy given inflation and all but the 4080 price is bonkers. Nvidia smoking that good shit if they think people are gonna pay those prices for a 4080.
