I was thinking about getting the new nook and rooting it but the eee transformer for $300 is really tempting.
Is the galaxy tab worth the extra $100 if you don't really care about the dock?
No one else finds it a bit scary that some script kiddies were able to expose several sensitive documents or just how bad security is for some large websites?
Imagine what some higher end hackers could do.
How is the nook in terms of responsiveness for web browsing compared to the eee transformer? I it's half the cost, just wondering if it's a huge difference like going from barely useable to smooth/responsive.
From the reviews it looks like the samsung offering has a much better display and keyboard than most netbooks. Though I can't remember what the internals were exactly or whether they'd be enough to run windows.

My Q6600 is still serving me well for gaming, but it's feeling a bit slow for a lot of the encoding and periodic number crunching I do. I'm a bit bummed that I have to wait until March, but I can still enjoy my 6950 on a lot of games until then.
It says after 1GB you download speed will be throttled. IIRC it used to be 5GB. I can't find anything that says exactly what happens after 1 GB. 1GB doesn't seem like enough for most people unless you spend all of your time in wifi covered areas.
My dad comes close or exceeds 5GB's each month...
