this why i bought my 1080ti to play pong at 1 quintillion fps! just stick to older games. the latest ray tracing? damn i might be dead before i afford GPUs that can play that, but i bought my 1080ti to play stuff like quake3area at fuktillion fps. i dont play modern stuff generally speaking.
does epic game launcher have a forum or support emails or forums or something? maybe i'm totally blind or getting old i can't find it. the developer for this game on epic i've emailed and they have 0 clue on what's going on.
does anyone play this game or have any experiences with it on epic...
ut3 worked for steam because steam pre-dated EPIC store/launcher.
but anthology pack didn't work.
why would gog activate? they have no direct relationship to have any access to any of the CD keys of midway/epic. i did try it and of course it didn't work. gog will only work for gog-specific...
oh that's the whole point yes. i have just heard that many people were able to successfully activate keys from older physical media into online platforms like i just did.
i've done it for warcraft 3/starcraft classic, etc. so it's all good. i'm pretty certain this is the last of it... unless...
found my physical DVD installer for Unreal Tournament 3 and activated it on steam fine, but oddly enough doesn't work with EPIC launcher... even though it is an EPIC game?
One down, one more to go.
the next is the Unreal Anthology like this...

wow cant believe it's been more than a year... i ended up getting approved for i7-6700 regular and called it a day. it is most def a huge improvement... but like night/day not really. i dunno what it is but every once in awhile i'll see some 'stutters' even in 2D desktop mode.

Just got myself an older Alienware M18x running i7-2730QM with GeForce 460M:
I upgraded RAM to 32GB, single GPU performance for
-l4d2

max quality running 1080p stutters, SLI disabled, latest drivers. the only other thing i can think of is to re-seat CPU.
I'm comparing this to my...
so what you guys are sayin is that mGPU gives us little to minimal benefits unless you can find games that are programmed for it?
sux to have all this potential power only to be limited by development.
when i upgrade i might just get fastest single gpu solution instead
ok.... thx for the feedback guys mGPUs have been around for a long since 3dfx days. i just never used it myself (til now)
glad it wasnt just.
some games like tomb raider legend looks smooth with it. i guess newer games work best with it that taps into all resources.
the reboots tho are a pita.
i've never used SLI before... i've got an older laptop Alienware M18x running dual SLI GeForce 460M
1. when i enable it, first i didn't know i had to reboot. do newer SLIs still require rebooting?
2. most non-SLI supported games actually STUTTER, is that normal? for example when in single...

there's a new panasonic 4k player that'll actually decode MGVC titles into HDR colorspace so it's really cool. not wasted
unfortunately the 4k player is about $3,000+ USD
how're they for support? i dont think i've had the pleasure of dealing w/asrock yet
PS i had priced this out between all the vendors and they are all similar... so i'm not concerned about that. this is for work and not hobby... so support is more critical than $.
Asus has been stellar.... so...
using this @home so i'm trying to minimize physical footprint.
outside of ATOM processor, are any of the i3/i5 lines that end in 'T' be capable of this or are the primary core i3/i5 process needing some fan or water cooling to remove heat out of the processors?
appliance case like: HDPLEX H1.S
board: Asus Q170T/CSM mini-itx
CPU: i5-6600t
this has no fan, no water cooling.
would this work? building a pfsense appliance
if i think about i i do now remember i used to have the i5-6600t which does have vpro. after i upgraded to the i5-6600k is when it stopped working. so all of it holds up. the key is to have a supported ecosystem for vpro to work
http://www.pcworld.com/article/2976604/components/intel-skylake-all-the-speeds-feeds-and-prices-and-which-one-is-right-for-you.html
^figured out what is wrong... i5-6600k does *NOT* support vpro! take a look at the charts!
