I am trying to get a Catalyst 1900 setup for a small lab here at the school I work at. The problem I am having is hooking up an uplink connection to the switch. I have the first FastEthernet port (A) set as the uplink, but when I hook that port up to a wall jack, I get no connection. I tried...
I have decided to sell my laptop. I've owned it for almost a year now. Specs:

I am also including a Linksys WPC V.4 802.11B pcmcia card. The machine has been my beast...
One other question I had for people, how many of you are using a laptop with a 13" or smaller sized screen? The X series pretty much fits my needs, but im thinking the 12" screen is too small for general usage. T or F?
I am looking for a road warrior type notebook, preferrable something small that's dockable, so it will be very portable when I'm out and about, and then when I take it home I can dock it and it will have pretty much full desktop capability. I also need long battery life, so Centrino is definitly...
Thanks for the link, I may go with that, I didnt see it originally on SVC's site.
All of it is going into my already semi-modded Lian-Li PC-70. Basically when I got the case I did some modding, then my interest died off on it, but now Im back into it, and this is the next step.
Spreadsheet Im working on calculating all the crap I'll have to buy for my machine. It's actually pretty cheap considering (I don't know the quality of the PSU, but for the price, I'm willing to gamble), but its still a lot of cash for me........lol :P
I will have a project log on bit-tech...
I actually didn't wire that panel, but sometime when we have a slow day we'll get in there with some velcro wraps and clean that mess up. I agree, it looks like ass right now.

My sister recently got a new Compaq presario for christmas. Its a 2.4 Celeron, 256mb RAM, and onboard everything else. It's just a generic desktop machine with a pretty fast processor. I had to set it up for her, and when I turned it on, I didn't hear a thing. I thought the thing was dead...
