Wow... CRT talk. Weird. haha...
I've been a diehard Trinitron fan but then mine died (or at least I thought it did, my friend has it now)... so I got an NEC FE991SB... and it's fantastic.
It's fantastic. Very well built... it doesnt collapse if its zoomed in and I put it vertically or expanded if its zoomed out and I turn it upside down.
The color is fantastic. Focus very fast. Bokeh is... ok. If you want better bokeh you'll probably need the Canon 17-55 2.8 IS... which is...
DAMN! I haven't posted on this forum in AGES... especially since the auto forum got owned. I'm on genmay now. ha!

Ok, so, I want some speakers for my laptop but am worried that even if the speakers are 5.1, because of the laptop's sound incompetency, I wouldn't get the full benefit.
Now, my laptop is a Toshiba M55-S325 and the speakers I want are Logitech Z-5300e... which are THX certified and 5.1.
I...
k. So my friend's computer is fucking up... at boot it gives that screen then fails to go further... safe mode doesn't work, it just hangs at the boot screen with that error message.
I've tried all of the HDD IDE channels, disconnected/connected floppy, etc... everything that has to do with...
Ok, I'm looking at $50 headphones for both music and games... ended up with Sennheiser HD212s as the best choice... also see Panasonic 355s as decent...
Best Buy has Sennheiser HD477s... as good as HD212s?
Anything else I should look at? Don't suggest Grados... don't like how they feel...
I hope you're kidding... no regular computer will ever function inside of a stock working refrigirator. The water vapors will kill everything.
Now, if the fridge isn't working... then you'll be fine.
If you have long PCI card that stick out past the motherboard (some raid controllers) and you carry your case around a lot, you use those things to secure them.
Will a Linksys WRT54G router transmit to a Sceptre 802.11b PCMCIA card?
I know it supports both 802.11g and 802.11b... but what about a different brand? To two cards at the same time?
Wow. That is amazing. Beautiful case mod.
When most people make a suitcase-type mod, they only mod the PC itself, you went all out and modded all the peripherals into one case.
Good job.
Make sure the boot of the drives is in correct order... you want the drive with your OS on in the "1st boot" spot, it's usually called "HDD-0"...
That usually fixes my CMOS Checksum Error after a power outage or something...
Ok. So I rebuild my system with the NF7-S, reinstall Windows (as always) and now it's asking for a new activation key since I installed windows too many times on this one. Is there a way around this? The little sticker with the key says 1-2 CPU... which I didn't exceed. This is on my barton, the...
It should do a better job. But if you're happy with your current setup (the TT will probably be louder) and your PC is stable and you're not planning on any more overclocking... then stay with the Zalman.
Just remember that one can never have enough cooling...
I used a generic Silicon adhesive from any hardware store, it holds like the hoover dam (sorry for the cliche). I just had one strip all around, about 3/8" wide, and 1/8" thick. Then I put on the window and held it down with books on a flat surface for 24 hours.
Take out all the ugly crap from the middle of it and put in tinted glass with a nice applique of your choice with LEDs to match the inside case ones behind the door.
Paint or stealth the drives as well, it's easy and it will do wonders for the overall look of the case.
