yes you can pay a extra couple bucks to get rid of the ads on hulu, you don't get additional content for the extra money but worth saving yourself 15 minutes when watching an hour show
I do watch some live tv, mainly the local news but that is over the air which I doubt hulu would be carrying anyways since none of the other streaming services offer it.
the main reason why i have hulu is so that I don't have to watch live tv. I basically already use it as a dvr service for the shows I like. Not really sure why anyone would want this.
what hulu has going for it is it has the current season of shows so its nice to be able to stay current with everything instead of waiting until the season is over and it show up on netflix or elsewhere. I basically just use the service as my dvr and the extra $4 a month for no commercials is...
Agreed, this kind of crap is what finally put me over the edge and drop cable tv, sadly still need to use twc for internet. Every month my bill seemed to go up a dollar or so.
When I first saw the line it was permanent for me, after about a month a second line showed up. I actually had this happen to me on 2 24" hp monitors just after they ran out of warranty.
I had the same thing to 2 of my monitors that were also HP's. only difference is my line(s) didn't come and go and after a while a second and third line appeared. I ended up just tossing the monitors.
damn, that is the only reason why I have hulu, so I can watch current shows without having a dvr service. If this happened I guess my newsgroup account will be getting a lot more use.
the thing that got me to cut the cord was tw seemed to raise my price every single fn month. sure it was typically a dollar there, 50 cents here but over years that added up. If I was adding something to my service then I would understand why it went up but I never did. One would think that...
that is because the txtProd.Text is being assigned to the current value from the loop and not making a list of them, try...
txtProd.Text += queryObjProd["Name"].ToString();
You will likely need to add in a line feed as well if you want one per line...
txtProd.Text +=...
so they are basically doing exactly what Ting is doing since they currently run on sprint and are adding t-mobile next month. It will be interesting to see what kind of prices they come out with.
second that, it seems that Microsoft thinks that no one will ever have a need to have more than one app up at the same time. I am looking forward to having messenger span all 3 monitors :rolleyes:
Man, a couple friends and I thought about making a site like this but do it because I felt bad about scamming the people out of the money. We even had plans of signing up local congregations to do the praying for the site in return they would get a certain percentage of the proceeds.
this reminds me of last weeks ad for Best Buy in which they have an awesome deal... a 6ft HDMI cable for a low low price of $120 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8897517&type=product&id=1214612067895&ref=10&loc=01
man how come I never come up with things like this. Lets see, 10,000 letters @ 500 bucks a pop. If 50% pay, that would make me $2,500,000. I may have to get to work on this.
Always know where you are. - hmm... I tend to always know where I am. If, for some reason, I don't know where I currently am, I must have had one hell of a night.
This reminds me of the good ol win3.1/dos days when you could buy software that would 'double' your ram by just compressing the data that went to the ram. Which oddly enough, didn't help performance at all.
That is correct, the problem with what network solutions is doing is that if I search on their site for a domain, find its available and then use godaddy to register it. It will show up on godaddy as registered because network solutions took it. So yes they are blocking the domain from being...
I'm 31, father of a 2 year old daughter and a son to be born within a week and I will be doing my best to encourage them to play video games. My daughter loves watching me play games on the wii so it shouldn't be too much longer before she wants to start playing as well. I think that if you...
Looks like i'm in the minority here, I'm a lefty and use my mouse with my left hand. I can use it right handed as well but left feels better for me. I usually stick with a mouse that can be used with either hand so I'm usually stuck with a pretty generic mouse.
Mouse I currently use...
These monitors are very hit and miss, we bought 14 of them for my work and 7 of them are bad and need to be returned as soon as office max has more in stock. Of the 7 that are bad, 1 monitor would turn on and then turn itself off after a second, 1 monitor has a quarter of the screen that is much...
simplest way to handle dates from forms is to do something like this... strtotime will take most recognizable date formats and convert it to a timestamp...
$mysqlDate=date('Y-m-d',strtotime($_POST['date']));
then when you retrieve it from the database, basically the same thing...
