Because the 16GB drive is not much bigger than the 2GB drive. IT costs more money to cram data into smaller spaces. If you'd like a 16GB flash drive that's a stack of 8 flash drives put together, then you might as well get a portable hard drive lol.

I seriously doubt the extra ram will keep you at a stable 20fps. It will definitely make load times faster, but your real bottleneck is the video card.

DDR2 will not work in a DDR machine. You can use any speed of DDR memory as long as it is above or equal to the current speed of your DDR as it will run at that speed regardless of what it is rated for.

I don't think the alienware or the voodoo have INTERNAL tuners. External tuners are offered, just as they are offered with the DELL XPS M170. So all three fit that requirement if external is fine, if internal is what you want I think the Toshiba Qosimo is about it.

The driver is installed, I am using DVI. The Normal Preset seems too dim as well as too warm for me. Changing it from Normal to 45 / 45 / 45 makes it look much better on my monitor. Try changing it and tell me what you think.

Specifically which kind of cables? I am not exactly an expert in the video area stuff, it's more in audio that I know the brands pretty well. edit: if you can get monster cable cheap, then do it. It's pretty good stuff, just way overpriced.

First off, Monster Cable is good... but not worth the money. There are better products out there for the money. Also, it won't make a huge difference but if you have interference problems it will help. Personally, for my high end audio equipment I use hospital grade (green dot) power cords...
