bookworm316, thanks for posting your review of the touch pro. I just picked one up myself today, except I am on Alltel. This is my first smart phone and I really do like it.
Thanks,

Hello everyone,
I have a quick question; I am trying to find documentation for a trendnet TW-100. I found the manufactures website here http://www.trendnet.com/products/TW-100.htm
I looked in the download folder to find only the advertisement for the device before it was discontinued.I am...
Unfortunately with mine its dim in the bios also so I am assuming its the inverter or the back lighting and yes you are correct about me reloading Windows XP from scratch but that was from a while ago.
Thanks for the info on the part number, ya I need to add more ram to it unfortunately I am a college student and money is tight right now :( I also sent you back a pm also thanks again for your help.
Thank you for your replies and yes I do believe the backlighting has gone out on it. The really strange thing is when the computer boots up the sony vaio logo comes across and I can see it just fine but anything else is barely visible. I have to shine a flash light at it to see the screen or use...
Hello all,
I have a issue with my laptop and I need your help to figure it out. The issue is the screen is very dim no matter if I boot the computer up into the bios or when it loads into Windows XP. I have tried different video drivers and I looked in the power settings for the option were...
If someone brings me a Dell, Gateway or whatever brand that came preloaded I try to use there copy that came with it to try and keep it as legal as possible or else tell them they need to buy another copy of the OS.
Do you have any plans to put any larger hard drives in it? I was thinking maybe a file server or maybe a htpc. Another thought is if you have extra bandwith you could use it as a ftp server for sending and receiving files.
Your idea to go to a local computer is exactly what I do when I need to ship items back to manufactors. I have sent about 5 hd back to hitachi/ibm and each time I have packed them a little differently due to what the local shop could give me. In my opinion they will take it back as long as you...
I know in the years I have worked on computers I have seen many harddrives go bad and all I can really say is sort of a game of chance in my opinion. It is possible that your power supply is sending more voltage to the drive but I believe is more due either heat issues or just bad hds in the batch.
Your situation sounds like the same experience I have had when I have sent Hds for rma to them. I guess they just have a little slower turn around unlike some other companies I have dealt with.
Yes they do degrade over time which is a shame, I use fuji cdrs and I have good success with those. I know I read a article somewhere( I will search for it later) about the best way to take care of cds to slow the process of it degradation.

Yes your Dell Harddrive will work with any motherboard. I know the dell I have opened up over the years have been Seagate, Maxtor and Western Digital and I have taken them out and moved to other computer with ease. Just check the jumper settings on the harddrive sometimes dell sets it cable...

I also turn off all my sounds that windows sets as defaults. If you want the sound back then it should be the name "start navigation" under the sounds option in the control panel , I believe this is where internet explorer gets that click noise from.
