Chip makers give 2.3V as the absolute maximum voltage for DDR2, but many BioStar mobos allow higher voltages for it, as much as 2.837V. If DDR2 is run at that voltage (not that I plan to), how long will it last? BioStar is being weasily with their answers.

Ultra and Wintech use them. In one 350W Ultra V-Series, the fan didn't start in 2 out of 20 starts. The other, with a fan that looked identical except for the lack the MH1225MHS model number on the stickers, worked fine in at least 50 starts.
