Lol i may have overstated the 8 years part. I do usually upgrade pieces along the way. My other question would be more geared towered the platforms. Would I be better off going with AMD 2700X and upgrading the cpu down the line?
With the 9900k im wondering if this is the end for that platform...
So my OC'd 2600k is starting to show its age and has been flaking on me lately. The following is what I am looking to get my primary usage will be gaming and streaming that's about it. The last PC lasted me 8yrs and hoping to get something similar out of this one. I will be buying everything...
It's easy if you have strong will power and no one around you is doing it. If your around it often and/or have a compulsive personality it becomes a lot harder to quit..
what a ride so far and I think I found my new bae..
So I went through the Logitech 502, 403, and g pro.. The 502 is heavy as sin even without the weights, the 403 was a little too wide for my liking, and the G pro is made for a tiny hand...
On a recommendation from a friend I got a Zowie EC1-A...
Im curious to know how the G pro compares. I was coin flipping at best buy between the G403 or G303.. The rocketjumpninja review had me swayed for the G403.. I would say I am still looking for a new mouse though..
So i was in Best Buy yesterday and made an impulse buy of the Logitech G403. I like it so far though it cramps my hand a bit weird since its pretty wide. It kinda forces me to play fingertip instead of the claw grip I am used to. i'll give it a few more days to see if I will keep it..
I use Claw grip and was using the textured cover. I had the alienware unit, i picked it up for over 100 while on a trip in Brazil and my G9 died. I didn't care for it the side buttons were a bit annoying to me.
So I have the Zowie FK 2014, Logitech Proteus G502, and my Logitech G9X. OF all the mouse the G9X is the most comfortable for my claw grip gaming. What mouse is the closest to the size of the G9X with a really good sensor?
I actually tried that last night. The Card is maxing out at stock speed but boost never kicks in. I also gave a little OC and it's not being read on XOC.. The memory OC is showing up but the core OC is not budging past 1721.. my temps are under 55C
The funny thing is the card was showing 22%-29% usage. it was maxing out at 1300mhzish, some games it would hit 1737mhz but it was OC'd when I use XOC and use the K it was hitting 2070's and like 5400 on memory.. it never went over 55C.. Its wierd its like boost works when it wants to, something...
How can I not compare it? the day before rocking out a 7950 i was getting higher FPS than after i switched to a video card that should be destroying those numbers.
Hey Guys,
So a few months back i was still rocking out with my trusty GTX 580. I play CS:Go a lot and I was getting about 300+ FPS with that card. IT haD finally died and I was using my bro's 7950 and was getting 200-250 FPS. Well Now I got this shiny new badass and WTF it barely Hits 200 FPS. I...
I could def push it further but it ends up running hotter than I am comfortable with. Myu water cooler leaked out and i just slapped an air cooler on it..
Hey Guys,
Im running an OC'd (4,3ghz) I7-2600k and 16gb of ram. My video card fried and a need a replacement for my GTX 580 OC.
I am thinking about either a GTX 1060 6gb or a GTX 1070. Would either card get bottle-necked by my system?
I live in NY and am Vendor out here. The fault was that of the owner of the Mall kiosk. He hired a girl that had no idea what she was doing. The 14 y/o boy was messing around with a mechanical mod which is not meant for the novice user. She was overwhelmed and the boy was playing with something...
thanks, i tried doing that and spent the following 3 hours trying to get through boot cycles that this POS mobo is known for. i got the 16gb working now though, gonna try to get my OC and the other sticks of ram working tomorrow. thanks for the guidance bro.
Hey guys,
So i Have 2x4gb sticks of G.skill ripjaws 1600, I just picked up a set of G.skill 2x8gb Ares 1600 sticks. would I have any issues running all 4 sticks? If not, what would be the optimal configuration to run them in? Thanks guys
I was looking for new IEM's to replace my lovable but uncomfortable UE Tfi10's..

I rocked the A900's for a while and upgraded to the HD650.. They are night and day different, The HD600's are more balanced I think and easier to drive than the HD650's. You will first notice the bass is much more pronounced and controlled. Then you will find that in music you will hear more of...
Well actually the cheapest of the 3 was the benq, well the AOC was the exact same price.. the Asus being like 10 bux more. I've read about the faults of both the asus and benq and was worried about the ghosting primarily. I work in broadcast and look for shit like that all day, so i am very...
Hey Guys,
looking for opinions if you rocked one of these out.. I am mainly playing CS:GO and League of legends with Americas Army proving grounds in the mix too. I watch SD/HD shows about 30% of the time.. My main focus is clarity and speed first.. Colors are secondary..
ASUS VG248QE (not sure...
That Samson is no slouch either.. with that combo it blows the corsair out of the water..
Just add this Zalman mic and your set..

hmm, I never saw the appeal to this mod. It's clunky and looks horrible. Not to mention fragile, I'd say save yourself the money and get a Zalman clip mic for a fraction of the cost. Not only is it a cheaper solution but it won't get in the way and it works quite well..
anyone else unable to purchase with CC? it send me to RBK payment put in my CC and no joy. i get an email saying i should pay for it and that's it no actual info on why it didn't work. i even called CC and they said they got nothing as far as payment request..
I am using a logitech G9X with the grippy shell. I got the DA 2013 edition. I will say that the sensor is definitely smoother then the G9x. The issue I had wit it was the form factor of the mouse made me have to palm it (I play claw style) I was also forced to hold it slightly to the left and it...
I'm trying to keep it budget friendly. I was hoping to not spend more than $50. I have 2 huge fans on the top of my case and don't really want to even think about mounting anything there.
As i stated before looking for something good and quiet.
