Honestly stick to GNS3 and IOU. With CCNA all you need is the Cisco Press cert guide and tons of subnetting practice. And for CCNP I can not think of a reason to get real hardware.

I have the same case for my WHS server with 15 x 1TB drives. The case only comes with 2 drive cages in case you are not aware.
