the att speed is for uverse, not the standard dsl and the uverse speeds are pretty consistent at that 10-25, I have uverse at the highest speed and it's advertised @ 24m and I get that.

Actually it does. It is against the law to receive stolen property. Tho most likely the item will be taken from you and you will be out the cash you paid for it, but you can be charged with a crime.
It is not that they have the insurance so much as it's preselected when you make the purchase and you have to deselect it if you don't want it. I sure a lot of people will purchase this without knowing they have. It should be an option you have to add if you want it, not remove if you don't.
not sure if I like the dimm sockets, I have the same ones on my X58 sabertooth and if not careful it's easy not to fully seat the memory and will cause weird problems. found out the hard way, board was only seeing 2 out of the 6 gigs i had installed at first.:o
