Posting from ubuntu. WINE didn't seem to do the trick, as the CD doesn't execute the program, it just installs it. When it does this it tries to install to C:\.... so I'm unable to get it to work. Either way, I now have ubuntu working nicely, and I think I may keep it for fun :)

no offense, but i'm not that stupid. i remember one of the techs saying it has something to do with the ibm image, so i got a corp disk and went into repair mode and formatted the whole drive, i went through the restore process AGAIN and it still went into the loop

actually, i've called about 4-5 times and two times i have asked for a manager, both times they have also been hard to understand. i'm not saying the company is bad, i'm just saying that i don't think those people can help me fix my problem without me having to send my laptop back.
