Sooo...I scored a Kingpin notification much sooner than I expected and had a moment of stupidity and bought it. Intended to use the 3080 in the daughter's computer, but it would need a power supply upgrade. I could throw it in another computer along with a 1080ti and mine for bit things, but it...
Selling a Asus P6T Deluxe V2. I got this back on an RMA...different serial number than the one I sent, so I believe it is a brand new board, but might be a refurb. Instruction manual, backplate, and various cables/accessories included.

So, I'm putting Win7 on the wife's computer, and I notice it's only showing 2gb of ram instead of 4. I'd dropped my 2x2GB sticks in that computer after upgrading mine to an i7 rig, so I figured something went awry then. After pulling and reseating both DIMMs, the computer shows 4gb, but it's...

I swapped out the single-fan rad with a 3x120 rad and some low-speed/low-noise fans. Since I had it apart, I also added a block in place of the Al heatsink on the Northbridge. That...
I redid the thermal paste per the manufacturer's instructions. It didn't look like the waterblock was making good contact with the processor, so I did some lapping on it. Dropped the peak temps down to 69C. Still hot, but much better.
Well, I'm not going for the mega-overclock, mostly just silent operation and getting heat and clutter out of the case. I'd be more than happy with 4gb...a nice round number! I guess I'm looking at a 3-fan rad with some slow-but-silent fans, and cannibalizing my existing pump and...
Finally broke down and bought an i7 rig. I got a new waterblock (Heatkiller 3.0) to keep things cool. I've got it running stable at 3.31ghz, but it's running too hot and I don't want to push it up any higher. Loaded temps are pushing 80C (using RealTemp), and that ain't right. Water temps...
