WCG. I'll muck with tonight. I've got a couple of fuels that aren't in my perk farm currently I can mess with. :)

On my fuels it seemed to be complaining about the lack of memory since they are only 512MB.

What did you do to get boinc running on your fuels? As to the questions about power draw used a measures current on a USB port and after they were charged my phones we're only pulling about a 1 - 1.5 watts while perking and crunching. This was with the brightness set to the lowest setting.

I don't think that's the same as giving cart blanch to use another site to generate a badge to be used for purposes out side of the fs/ft area.

I understand where you are coming from, that's why I think even within the BOINC universe are focus should be on WCG plus I believe it fulfills the primary mission which was originally a focus on putting our machines to work for the benefit of mankind.

I think our "official" project should follow in the same vein as FAH with a primary focus on medical research. WCG is the most logical choice under that scenario.

I've found I can run the chrome client but it seems actual WU updates are blocked through the corporate firewall. :(
