    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Nvidia 3080ti on windows 10 21H1(19043.1466) and HDR looks great for me. Once I turned it on, I never looked back. SDR is not an option anymore. Permanently activated on Desktop and games which support it.

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I have HDR permanently on as everything looks better in my eyes with it. I have a friend teling me that by leaving HDR on all the time the lighting (max brightness) will burn out much much faster. And it would be better to disable it in desktop and activate it only when I want to play a game or...

I don't know what you mean by slow. NVCPL is not the faster responsive program on earth. But I would not call it slow. Never need to do such thing but did you try adding nvcplui.exe to your antivirus excemption list to see if it makes any change?

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I understand that you uninstalled Windows store(???) If this is the case, I believe this the source of your problems(and eventually others) I would suggest to re-install the store or do a clean install of windows. In all cases and as far as I know since 496,13 DCH release NVCPL is included in...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

It may sound silly but please try to reset all Aorus menu settings and use english language. I remember people having trouble updating the firmware with different languages. And they were able to flash the firmware by simply changing the Aorus menu to english. I would also try to re-flash the...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Yes I have OSD installed but I used it only to update the firmware. Since then, monitor was never again connected with the usb cable. But my issue had nothing to do with OSD. I just had to tick the nvcpl option(the one you don't have) There are no drivers for this monitor. It is recognized...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

That did the trick for me! I use HDR Game profile with brightness 60 contrast 55 dark enhance off color enhance 0 light enhance 1 local dimming off BUT while my custom SDR profile works with all games, this is not the case in HDR. Each game looks significantly better with a different profile...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I use a 3080ti. Not on the latest drivers though. As I mentioned I hope I will find the time to fully investigate the issue next week. I am not as optimistic as you that the problem will be resolved in future drivers. I don't believe we are the only owners of 30... series nvidia gpu using this...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

thanks to your post I noticed that this is the case for me as well. When I enable 'adaptive sync' the screen blinks and the g-sync option becomes available in nvcpl. But in the summary orange letters 'adaptive sync' appears as disabled. I was able(i have some guests till the end of the week)...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Many nights I had to lower the brightness as my eyes were suffering. I don't remember having something similar with all my monitors even after hours and hours of use. This is my first real HDR monitor though, and I believe this burning sensation is caused by HDR as in SDR mode I don't have the...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Issue finally fixed! I am adding the post TerraPhantm mentioned just for reference. My problem was exactly the same and as you can see what worked in FO48U case was a simple re-flashing of the firmware without any other monitor/TV connected to the gpu. I had flashed the firmware 5-6 times...

Flashing to F4 beta almost did it. Now I can go up to 3840X2160 but monitor still not recognized as Aorus FV43U. Now it's reported as: RTK UHD(???) I also can't go above 60Hz and HDR is not working:( OSD kick is giving me a message: 'can't find device' when I switch to HDMI nvidia drivers...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I mean re-flashing with same firmware(F04). Not the beta. Unfortunately no other device with a display port in the house. Also F4 beta is not available anymore on Gigabyte website. If somebody has a copy and can upload it I will be glad. It seems more like a windows problem. It happened after...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

I have quite an issue here. I was on F4 beta and updated to recently released F4. The update finished successfully and the monitor self restarted showing the Aorus logo. But after that it was stuck on 640X480 resolution and was identified as Nvidia digital display. I disconnected the power...

G-SYNC enabled but I still get tearing.

Hello, - I am using a 144hz monitor capped at 120hz(due to gpu limitations) - none of the games I play has a frame rate that exceeds my monitors refresh rate - I get no tearing Does gsync has something to offer me? Thanks

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Mcgriddle My first thought was the same. I am always aware of avoiding any 'green', 'eco', etc setting when dealing with a monitor or a TV. But in case of the Aorus it seems that this is not the case: Quoting from Tom's Hardware review: ''The FV43U comes set to its Green (yes, that’s the term...

Wiz33 ''Does the pictures I took on the popular 4K HDR Youtube video look washed out to you on this page?'' I would say yes... It is just strange cause the little feedback I had before buying the monitor was about excellent colours and extreme brightness out of the box. And I had washed...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

When using the 'Green' image setting, as suggested by Tom's hardware and the majority of users, my colours are extremely washed out. This my main problem with most of the profiles. GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Not impressed by the monitor so far. I have 35 years of pc gaming experience in my back with the last 20 of them exclusively on TVs. And I guess that's the reason I find this pc monitor inferior in everything except gaming. Cause most probably my eyes are used to TVs. It's worth mentioning that...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

2nd monitor arrived. No dead pixels, no backlight bleed. Panel seems good. Need to try all settings now and check how it performs. Firmware update took around 10 minutes and went smooth. I was able to achieve 4k, 120Hz, 8 bit, full RGB via the display port of my 1080ti. And I more than happy...

    GIGABYTE AORUS FV43U 43 inch 4k 144 HDR1000 QLED monitor

Hi, I went through the whole thread and realized that my Aorus 1080ti(no DSC dp 1.4) will limit me to: 4k/120hz/8bit or 4k/98hz/10bit Is my understanding correct? Do other members using the monitor with a 1080 confirm? Thanks in advance
