Hey have you tried the Acer ion setup? It's only like 329 on newegg and very small. In fact I believe it can be mounted on the back of an LCD TV, although I'm not 100% certain. I guess the only drawback would be no blu-ray drive but I'm sure an external one could be purchased. Here's the link...
Maybe I did not clarify myself when I said it was funny, my apologies for that. I said what I said because his comment was so left field and not serious that it made me laugh and it didnt really add anything to what the person was asking.
Wow I come back to hardforum after a little while and...
I actually use a microsoft wireless entertainment desktop 7000 and I leave the mouse that comes with out of the equation. The built in track pad is really nice, I like it. I also like the weight of the keyboard, not too much going on which to me is great. Nice MCE functions via some...
To tell you the truth they would hang themselves from a PR standpoint if they did not give OUTSTANDING service to an of those poor people that were actually lucky enough to get a console that broke! I mean my newphews' xbox360 that was part of the first batch of em broke right before winter...
I'm torn about getting one, although my wife is deadset on getting one tomorrow. I think I'll split up and have her take Walmart and I'll take Target, so If I get one that will be cool. I had fun playing it last night at a EB, not sure what game I'll buy though, not many at launch looked good...
I remember the Snes version as well as the Genesis one, that had a better cyber combat system but the overall game was not as good as the Snes one. Good times!

Thanks for the reply, unfortuantely I cannot get the apexpress to pickup a LAN address to configure it manually. I think I have to obtain a new router and try it again.
First of I've searched around so please dont flame me! I have come to find out that my netgear router will never support my airport express that I got for xmas. In hindsight I should of researched, but thats not an option. So rather than have it be an expensive paper weight or sell it I'd like...
The topic should be revised to ask what Video card manufacturer people use, haha! It seems that everyone loves EVGA, well at least a whole mess of us do!

I still cant believe I found one the day after xmas at Target, it made my nephew really happy! Still do not want one for myself though, I'm holding out for nintendo!!!!!

Blakex,
Where do you work, because I have a fry's about 10 minutes from my job (give or take how fast you drive) (the Anaheim store) and a microcenter 2 minutes away from work!

You need to get a crimping tool, they can cut many gauges of wire, usually 10-22 AWG. Here's a link for a good one, just line up the wire to the correct gauge and strip across, the toobing will come off and the wire will be left...
So I finally installed special forces after having purchased it the day it came out, I guess I have not had time to play. Regardless I installed and re-patch with 1.12 and all is fine. BUT when I go to enter a server the game quickly flashes back to my desktop with the large BF2 logo, then goes...
I can say from experience that is true. I went into Target the day after xmas for a un-related gift exchange and I found three premium boxes sitting behind the camera counter. I picked one up just as easy as buying a ps2! The guy that worked at Target mentioned they have to keep them behind the...
Honestly I think you should scout Target/Walmart/Samsclub from time to time, but to answer the question I heard every week there should be shipments, but I could be wrong.

I have to toss my hat in the ring for the two metroid games! I purchased my gc way back in Oct of 02' (wedding present from wife) just for metroid prime! Goddam game was awesome and I only now have really gotten into MP2 (I had it since launch and never played it) and that is even more than I...
On a similiar note, not that I am making an insurance claim (which would be easy since my wife works for the insurance co). Anways I gingerly walked into Target the day after xmas looking for a video ipod (wife thought she ordered video but got photo from costco) to replace the xmas gift my wife...
It's funny that you asked that question, my father in-law just bought a viewsonic 20.1 inch widescreen 8ms LCD monitor. He has complained that since using this monitor battlefield 1942 (doesnt like bf2) lags more. Is this possible?

What size? Do they mind large CRT?
If they are fine with under 40, try this 32" LCD from costco, return policy is too good to pass up, when they get more $$ to add to the TV they can take it back and get something larger or better...
Yeah this article said the same thing but only mentioned sharp being the only manufacturer to offer that. But given the age of the article, I'm sure there is a few more out there that offer that.

Okay I also have to toss this factoid in about plasmas, the majority of under 50" plasmas do not show "full hdtv" due to the resolution being under the minimum 1280 X 720 high definition resolution. Read this article about plasmas and resolution, although its older it still has good information...
These even look good too and given the EXTREMELY liberal return policy at costco these are not a bad idea and the second one is a sharp (who make some of the best LCD tv's out there), so thats good!
Maxent 32" 12ms response time...
If you are fine with the sub 40 inch category you may want to look into an LCD, there is plenty of companies making stellar products that are very capable of gaming. Usually they state the refresh rates on their websites or at B&M stores for all to see. Costco has a few 30-32 inchers for under...
Oh another bit of advise, do not buy a plasma under 50 inches because they do not fully show HD in all of it's resolution (although some panasonic sub 50incher's do). Rule of thumb if the TV does not have a 1280X720 it's not full HDTV resoution, TV set's under that resolution will show HDTV but...
On another DLP note, they are "supposedly" the best for gaming, so I have heard. I am a HUGE fan of DLP (still looking for the right brand). Read this guide, more notibly step 4 because it touches on gaming:

I would also stay away from RCA...
I personally cannot wait until Nintendo finally shows us what we've been waiting for! Like someone earlier said, this will be the only system that I will (and have ever) pre-order, just for the simple reason that I love nintendo and I firmly believe what the revo will offer is going to be...
