Ok, I'm all set on stats. Time zero was after the EOC 9 PM CST update. The race has started!

We will start the race when the F@H/EOC stats are back up. Since we passed the original start date and time, no more Team Anandtech members can sign up for the race.

Apparently there are database issues at F@H and they are working on it as of Friday. Hopefully they will get this sorted out sometime today. See StefanR5R's post in the anandtech forum for links.

Please note you'll need nvidia drivers that support cuda 11.x to use FAHcore 22 v0.0.18. If you have older drivers, the fahclient will use opencl on nvidia cards and your PPD will drop significantly. If you are on linux, you will also need glibc 2.17 or later to use FAHcore 22 v0.0.18. More...

Final Stats: TAAT edged out [H] for the win. It was impressive to watch the901 and Skills ramp up their production in the last couple of days.

I just lower the power limit. For nvidia cards in Linux: sudo nvidia-smi -pl 180 "-pl" is "power-limit" and the # is watts. If you have more than one card, the command above will change the power limit on both cards to 180 watts. If you want to change the power limit in the card at device "0"...

The --headless option is a problem on linux Mint 20.1. It blacklisted amdgpu so I booted to a black screen. I removed the blacklist file, rebooted and reinstalled using: sudo ./amdgpu-install -y --opencl=pal --no-dkms

I'll collect "0 time" stats at EOC on this Saturday, the 23rd at 7 AM EST (6 AM CST). It will be 12 PM (Noon) in London.

I guess this could be off topic but I've been using Ricks GPU utilities to set the power cap and control fan speed on my Radeon VII. I don't know of another linux utility that works for the Radeon VII.
