going back a few driver sets i now get 1965mhz @.875v 64c solid. I guess ill try the original drivers and see how that goes (but then i may loose gains in certain games)?
So just this last week ive noticed i cannot do my normal OC of 1985 @.862v as games will crash. Now i have to do .925v just to get 1905mhz. I did do a driver update as thats the only thing i can see different. My temps are under 65c with gpu fans at 100%
For whatever reason i'm not at 1:1. It's at 3:54 but i have everything set properly. My memory is 3600mhz using DOCP and set infinity to 1800. Is this just the way CPU-Z reads it or am i missing something? I even tried setting everything manual to the DOCP speeds and i get the same results.
I upgraded my whole system to be able to game at 120fps or higher at 1440p with high settings. That was the whole reason for getting the system in my specs. Before i was getting 75-90fps in most games with some games on high detail and just wasnt enough anymore.
Has anyone tried with just 1 cable and did any benchmarks and or checked voltages and such? I always see reviewers use 2 separate cables when benching.
Thankfully no issues here with my setup. Cpu is undervolted 0.125v and gpu is also undervolted and hitting 1900mhz almost constant unless the game doesnt need it.
I got one over the weekend along with a whole new system and gsync monitor. I'm having ZERO issues with heat or crashes or anything for that matter. I can even OC the card to 2ghz core (with fan on full)
Maybe it depends on the power supply used or if someone is using 1 cable for both 8 pin on...
I paid Just over $100 more than retail at a retail store. I got the MSI Ventus 3x. I must admit its a sweet card. I have done nothing to it and ive seen it as high as 1985. No throttling.
Last night i picked up a MSI Titanium for $630cad. Temps NEVER get over 65c and thats with stock fan curve. I got 175 on the core and 200 on the memory. Power limit and core voltage percentage are all the way up. These cards must throttle due to voltage fluctuations or something cause after...
I'm using prime 95 to stress my cpu at 4.8ghz (which seems to be the sweet spot for most) but when prime is running my cpu downclocks itself to 4.5ghz quite often (i'm using HWmonitor) Temps are fine maxing out at 67c air cooled and volts are at 1.291v
Why is the cpu doing this?
I just recently sold off my gaming system and want to go small form factor. Is an i3 to little for that or go with i5? I will be doing light gaming but nothing serious.
I need opinions on case, power supply, memory, etc. I found a used gtx 980 and a 24" 144hz monitor for super cheap, just...
I have 2 980 ti's in my system and one of them died today :( My warranty states that if one dies i get both replaced. Now do you think they would replace them with 1070's or 1080's or 1 1080ti?
I have 2x 250gig ssd's that i would like to combine to a new m.2 drive. one of the 250gig drives contains my OS and the other one just games. I want to merge both 250gig drives into the new m.2 512gb drive and keep everything else the same. Is this possible? Thx
Yah mine is affected and i knew that already. I think i will wait till the 2nd batch of replacements come out since im hearing bad things about the first batch.
What Odellus said. Mod your own bios or find someone to do it for you. It is never recommended to flash someone any other bios. Many cards are voltage locked and cannot be changed by any means except hardwire (possible?)
System specs below. both my gpu's are running around 40% and the gpu speeds less than 1ghz. Ive tried lowering settings (which i shouldnt have to) and same results. I should be getting 144fps or close to all the time with my setup.
No issues that i know of with any other game i play.
