I have two 34" ultrawide monitors, and I'm looking for a monitor stand that will allow me to put them side by side,
And then put them one above the other
Is there such a monitor stand, or should I use two regular monitor stands to achieve this?
I have this ram Kingston Fury DDR5. Is there a way to program the RGB colors to stay in the hardware?
I use Linux and Windows, and when its in Linux, it has this random RGB colors, once in Windows, with the Kingston software it changes to what I want, a static color.
Apparently there are two...
Is there a direct die CPU watercooler, for the Core i9 13900k, besides the one from EKWB?
I can delid the cpu, no problem, but I need a CPU waterblock that works on the delidded cpu.
BUT, there is another option, back in the 9th Gen, there was this OC frame, that you could use with your...
I recently bought this monitor and I'm experiencing an unusual problem, both in Ubuntu and Win10.
The problems is that my whole screen moves, like a couple of pixels to the right, once every 10min or so. Sometimes it moves to the left, or upwards, or downwards, or to the right, just a couple...
Have anyone tried to fill their loop and bleeding air bubbles, like they do with cars? with a vaccum pump like this?
https://www.amazon.com/UView-550500-Airlift-Economy-Refiller/dp/B000IHK1VI/
Maybe a little overkill, but getting rid of air bubbles could be frustating
EKWB has a nee type of GPU water cooler, that also has an active cooled backplate
Have you tried these type of coolers for thr 4090?
Are they worth it?
I have a Dell Ultrsharp 27". Like 11 years old. And today I get this message. It remains on top of everything and I can't seem to get into the monitor menu. Just on and off.
What is happening?
You bought a RTX 4090, and becuase of nvidia idea of saving a couple of bucks, they made small power connectors, and someone didn't check current levels for this design.
How are you dealing with this problem? Do you have a fire extinguisher next to your case?
I have a HP Probook 4720s, that I want to upgrade. More ram and SSD. It has 4Gb DDR3 (533mhz, 1.5V) 2 sodimms 2x2GB. A 10 year-old laptop
Would this new ram sodimms ddr3 1600mhz, 1.35V be compatible?
I reckom those are dual voltage, right?
I'm aiming to 16gb, but i can settle for 8gb.
Anyone has more info about this new Chinese GPU?

My 6-year-old nephew cut, by mistake 🤣, my D-RGB led strip and throw the 4 pin connector away
I could solder a new one but, how can I identify the cables from the led strip? 5V, D, and ground? They are all black
I'm renovating my watercooling accessories. In all my loops I cooled the CPU first, then the vid card.
But with this new accessories and the placement of my pump, I have a more direct loop If I start cooling the vid card first and the CPU second.
Do you have experience cooling the vid card...
I'm testing Linux Mint and one thing that annoys me, is that when I open the file explorer and click on sort files by type, it sort files different from Windows.
All the "documents" are sorted together (pdf, doc, etc) e.g.:
aaa.pdf
ttt.doc
bbb.pdf
rrr.doc

I need to upgrade to Win10 and I was wondering what are the best apps (paying or free) to help block Win10 spying, telemetry, etc.
I reckon it would be imposibble to block everything, but if it can block 90% is a start...
thanx
I have 3 PCs (2 laptops with Win7) and one PC with Win10 Pro. They are connected in the same switch with ethernet cable. (Nothing wireless)

I'm upgrading my watercooling setup and I'm wondering about using car radiator coolant instaed of water.
The idea is to avoid copper corrosion.
There are different engine coolants, like:
IAT (Inorganic Additive Technology)
OAT (Organic Acid Technology)
HOAT (Hybrid OAT)
Which one would be more...
I have some problems with a PC my mother is using, it has an old Samsung monitoc Syncmaster SA300
Due to quarantine, it's impossible to buy a new one or send it to tech support.
This is the problem:
It stays like that 80% of the time, it comes and goes.
Cable is new, I've tested in another...
I would like to lap the cpu die, I have removed the IHS from my 9900K and I plan a direct die contact to the watercooling cpu block.
I will try to follow this guy's advice
But how does it hold up over time? Did you have problems or malfunctions after lapping your cpu die?
I got a couple of 1/4" ball valve from XSPC and Im having some leaking problem
The fitting is torqued with a wrench not by hand and it is as far as it goes. but as you can see, the oring doesnt look like it is tight enough.
I didnt have problems with these fittings before...

I want to know what voltages the modular connectors have. I want to connect some devices directly to the modular connector. I don't have a voltmeter, so is there a voltage layout of the connectors for these "Peripherical and SATA" modular connectors?
I have a Corsair HX 850
I'm looking for a good thermal paste.
The last one, which I know was good, was the Artic Silver 5, but now I suppose there are other better ones.
Which one is the best paste nowadays?
So, I've been out of the OS loop for quite some time. I still use Win7 for CAD programs, internet browsing and some gaming.
So, apart from the new DirectX, is there some advantage to move to Win10?
Has the Win10 spying issue been resolved? Or you still send Microsoft ALL the data they want...
As of today, what is the best CPU water block for Intel cpus?
Is the Raystorm Pro still a top performer?
Will be cooling a Core i9, so every little bit of cooling helps
I'm cleaning my watercooling loop after 7 years of continuous work.
All my loop is copper (to minimize galvanic corrosion) except for some fittings that are nickel plated,
When I removed all the hoses there is some corrosion, so I reckon the inside of the my radiator (RX480 XSPC radiator) has...
My old LGA 1366 mobo recently died. I have a first generation Core i7 930 , 16GB DDR3 and GTX 1080, and 2560x1440 resolution.
Such an old CPU can still hold its ground very good with today's games! It's crazy!! The lack of real competition has made Intel a slacker IMHO, oh well :confused...
A friend of mine just gave me a Xeon E7-4890 v2 engineering sample CPU as a gift. (dont ask why, long story :D) He says its in working condition.
Could you guys recommend to me a good mobo for this CPU? If it uses DDR3 the better
Thanks
A little bit off topic, but apparently there is no off topic forum...
