Of course this is the monitor I was looking for for weeks. Now that I bought the Predator it goes on sale.
Yes. I was considering a 4k but I game in 1440p and really want the gsync so it's been the one I've had my eye on for a couple of weeks. I cannot wait. Also, just bought a Jarvis standing desk so extra ready!

I still play Skyrim all the time and recently started an Oblivion playthrough. I probably have 400 hours in on Skyrim and have never finished the main quest. It's just not a requirement at all. There really is no completing games like that especially when you mod them. Follow the Bevilex...
I think you'll really enjoy it. It's the kind of game for me that makes me think about it when I'm away from it. Also inspired me to dive back into oblivion. I just modded it using the Bevilex list and so far "bringing me back" :)
Crazy had no idea. These are pretty much what I play in rotation (Video Game ADD) at the moment: Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and Skyrim but also play Doom, Wolfenstein, and stuff like Origins obviously for now. So far I haven't noticed anything negative with the 2500k but then again...
Yeah good idea. Think I may stick with my 2500k o'c'ed, upgrade my monitor and then do like you said next year and upgrade the cpu. Thanks for the help.
Thanks. My main go tos are Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance, and Skyrim but also play Doom, Wolfenstein, and stuff like Origins. I can get way up in framerate on Doom and Wolfenstein but my monitor currently just discards anything over 85. I know skyrim only runs best at 60 anyway.
My cpu...
I'm contemplating a jump to a 1440p 144hz gsync monitor and curious if my 2500k will be able to handle fps increases over 90 for example? I'm wondering if I'll need to upgrade my cpu as well.
Thanks,
G
It's an amazing game and one of the best ever. If you like games like Oblivion but more RPG (think Baldur's Gate possibly or even text based Zork) then this one is for you. Support these guys as they are a small independent developer and truly care about the game for the long term.
