I’m using the screen with DisplayPort, but I’m trying to update the firmware via the USB-C connection, since I read that it wasn’t possible to do so with the normal USB A connections.
I have the same issue, I'm trying to connect the monitor like this:
Monitor -> USB-C to USB-C 3.0 cable -> USB-C to USB A adapter (that was included) -> PC
No matter what I try, the LG software will just keep saying I have to connect to the monitor with USB.
