Yeah crank that baby up, video cards are more resilient than people think. HAHA but at the end of the day I see your point, that would suck to have to replace a card.
Personally Id go with a razr naga, thing is awesome in almost any game. I love binding to the side keys in fps just with like weapon changes and everything.
Wow man, good stuff! Previous owner of a 980ti sc and now a 1080ti ftw 3. EVGA is my go to brand now, no more msi, corsair, etc. Customer service is where it is at imo.
Yeah again it depends...not that big of a difference for gaming itself. If you plan on rendering videos and doing some intensive workstation esk things then yes. Either processers are probably the best bang for your buck at the moment while still being relevant age wise.
Yeah 61 is not hot at all...I would still throttle down the voltage and go back through the overclocking process. As long as it is under 80 under full load I would not worry, for a 8700k atleast.
Damn man, I was considering buying that monitor! I got mine on amazon for $800, its a evga ftw 3 edition...so most expensive one minus kingpin..i was surprised. I got mine on amazon bro, legit refreshed the page every couple minutes for like 3 hours to find some in stock for near normal prices...
I guess in a way yes... But not necessarily. You will be able to push out more res with more GPU ram however a lack of system ram will more so hurt your frames for sure.
I got a solid deal on a 1080ti on amazon for $800...Funny how that is solid in this market haha! Then again it was a FTW 3 so yes it was a great deal. Sucks to have to refresh amazon for 3 hours just to find something in stock haha ;D
Jowersman Out of curiosity what monitor?? I just got rid of my 980ti for a 1080ti and I could push almost anything on a 32" 1440p. However if you don't want to lower any settings then the 1080ti gets the job done for sure.
Personally I would not. However, these parts are more resistant to stress than people give them credit for. I don't believe that mining significantly lessens the life of a video card. Just to be safe however, do not do it.
