Used DSR to upscale GTAV to 1440p and 4k. The corners were much sharper, and the game a lot more beautiful. Still, the grids were present. In GTA that's almost imperceptible (regardless of the resolution), I can only notice on Michael's house, but on some games it becomes almost unplayable.
I've been avoiding reinstalling all drivers, but I guess that's the only option I have left. I can take pictures of the screen with my phone, but all the problems I see are also shown on the screenshots, so I guess the problem is not exclusively with the GPU or monitor, but with their interaction.
I don't think GTA V has TAA but I'll look into it anyways. I know Marvel's Avengers had it but, as I said on a post before, I played it on a Steam free weekend. My control panel already have these settings, so I guess my only bet is hoping that games that have this problem also have TAA on their...
I'll try putting GTA on 4k, still, I used to have a 32" 720p TV as my monitor for a few time, and this kind of problem didn't occur. The only problem that I had back in that day was blurry textures, but no grid-like shadows and hair
I know you're answering jobert, and yes, the problem in this image is very similar to mine, still, this very problem happens on other games, made by other developers (such as rdr2 and cod mw). So the problem is not with this specific game, maybe it's some sort of technology that all of them use...
I've turned gsync on and off, messed up with my monitor's resolution (it displays its native resolution as 1080p on the Ultra HD, HD, SD section of NVIDIA's Control Panel, but like this the maximum refresh rate is 120hz, so I usually use the 1920x1080 resolution, displayed on the PC section of...
Unfortunately GTAV (the only game I have installed right now that has this problem) takes a lot of time to start (due to my old HDD) hahah. Will be messing with these settings around, thanks. I'll post an update after making these changes.
Differently from Marvel's Avengers, on GTA the screenshots look better than the game I see on my monitor, but the problem is the same. Doesn't happen on hair though, but on some shadows and vegetations. I've marked the most noticeable parts. It's like there are a lot of dots/pixels (if you can't...
The thing is, this happens with other stuff, such as shadows and some lines (e.g. electrical wires on a light pole). Check the screenshot I'll post on GTAV. About my thoughts that refresh rate might be a problem, there is a chance of artifacts being shown on screen when the game is being played...
My image settings are the Quality preset. The only modification is that I have enabled DSR (just to mention, this problem occurs regardless of enabling or disabling DSR). About GeForce Experience, I have tried this before, but didn't help aswell. I play all games at 100% 1080p resolution scale...
I would definitively try this out but unfortunately I was playing Marvel's Avengers on a Steam free weekend. I guess I'll try this when I find another game that has the same problem, thanks anyway.
Ikr, if I had those I would post, but I've beaten and uninstalled mafia and rdr2. The hair sure looks like shit, but notice how the forest also has a pixelated look on those screenshots, also bruce's arm/hand is pixelated and the shadow on his torso also looks strange. I'm thinking it's a side...
I've noticed it just on a few games - Marvel's Avengers, Modern Warfare Warzone, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mafia 1 Definitive Edition. It's generally more perceptible on hair (beard), lines and detailed environments (high LOD). Dunno if is it a bug because of the nvidia freesync combination...
Hey guys, help me choose between a 1080p75hz ultrawide monitor, a 1080p144hz (not ultrawide) monitor, a 1440p75hz (not ultrawide) monitor and a 4k60hz (of course, not ultrawide) monitor. Just to mention, these are the monitors available to buy where I live (there aren't no 1080p120hz, 1080p144hz...
I already have a white HyperX Fury 8GB 2666Mhz (HX426C16FW2/8) memory stick, and now I'm interested in buying another one, the red HyperX Fury 8GB 2666Mhz (HX426C16FR2/8). Both share the same specifications on HyperX's website, except the heatsink color. I'm almost sure, but would like to know...
My motherboard is coming and since it doesn't have wi-fi on it I'm gonna download everything such as BIOS and drivers before it comes, but what drivers do I really need?
There are these drivers on MSI's website:
-On-Board VGA Drivers:
Intel VGA Driver (?)
-LAN Drivers:
Realtek PCI-E Ethernet...
At the moment I'm between the i7 and the R5/R7 2xxx. So, which to choose?
Here's a little price comparison (prices in brazilian Real):
*Since the printscreen with the price comparison wasn't uploading in the forum, i uploaded it here:

Which chipset would be better with a Ryzen 7 2700? I've made list of x370, b450 and x470 boards that seem to have a great performance for gaming, and still fit my budget.
x370
- GIGABYTE X370 GA-AX370-GAMING K3 (US$185.19)
b450
- ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS (US$187.63)
- MSI B450 TOMAHAWK (US$190.10)...
I won't take the Prime B350-Plus anymore because the store that had this board, with the new bios, ran out of the product. And there aren't many good b350s at the market here in Brazil.
What would you recommend: a b450, x370 or a x470 for Ryzen 2700? The only ATX x370 available here in Brazil is...
I'm in doubt as to which CPU to pick. It is clear for me that AMD CPUs have a higher cost benefit than Intel CPUs, and in addition offering more cores and threads than Intel, allowing OC on any CPU, including stock coolers and with a path for future upgrades. For these reasons I've already...
Which would you get?
The price difference between a build with 8700K and a 8600K is R$414.31($127.48), 8700K and 8400 is R$812.24($249.92) and 8700K to 1600 is R$1104.99($339.99).
The Ryzen one seems to offer a lot for its price, but, considereing that a game lasts about 2/3 years to develop, we...
Hey guys, I made my mind about my future setup, but there are some specs on on my list that I wish you could help me:
*MOBO: ASROCK Extreme4 Z370/ASROCK Fatal1ty K6 Z370/Gigabyte AORUS Ultra Gaming/Gigabyte AORUS Gaming 7
CPU: i7-8700K
**CPU Cooling Unit: ?
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080
RAM: G.Skill...
So the smart thing to do is maintain my CX600, get a basic performance FAN cooler for now and in 1/3 years get a good WaterCooler+750W TX PSU to overclock my i7-8700K and my future GPU?
S
So what would you suggest for cooling? A simple FAN now, and in a few years get mysef a WaterCooler? And what would you suggest for PSU? If you do not recommend using a CX on a high-end build what would you recommend, a CS, TX or RM 750W?
Actually, I just realized that my PSU is the Corsair CX600, a 600W PSU not 650W as I initially thought. Is the CX600 a reliable PSU for a i7-8700K+1080 combo? And capable of handling some kind of overcloking?. I could stick with the CX600 and in 1/2 years get a 750W PSU, so that I could...
Hey guys, I've been looking to buy a new PC and I want your help. My current specs are pretty outdated, I have a FX-6300 and a GTX 750 Ti, but maybe I can use my current 650W PSU and 1 TB HDD on a new machine. Anyway, my main goal
is to build a gaming PC able to run games on 1080p +60FPS, but...
