Installed the Phanteks mount last night, couldn't wait for a 4.0 cable so i pre-emptively set my slots to 3.0. the included cable would not work in the middle pcie slot because of the way it stresses downward, i need the top slot to fit a pcie usb card since reading about Reverb G2 not liking...

I think so to, i am undervolting my 3080 card, running a vr ready benchmark creates a total system draw of 350ish watts at the plug. undervolting brought that down from 420ish watts. it also dropped temp by 7-10c.

Does your local computer store have a service department? mine said if i can't update the bios myself when it all comes together they will for 30 bucks.

Well, it has begun.

I have not had a fan fail on me in years, 10 maybe? more i think, my old msi 980 is in my wifes computer and in use daily and the fans seem fine. that just seems like such a non issue. my rad fans have been running 24/7 since 2016.

I would have grabbed it as well, i really wanted to switch to team red this time, oh well, maybe next time in 5 years amd:(

Whats msrp for EVGA 3090 ftw3? its on the shelves and has been for at least a week at my local CC for $2400 CDN, a lot of 3090's are in stock an on the shelves.

Couldn't even guess, first computer was a 286/12 with a 4 colour display. so whatever came with that, i do still have a few of the cards i got over the years, 3dfx, matrox, some ati's.

speakers are Edifier 5.1 S550, had them for a few years but love them. so i will have to stick with a soundcard/onboard. rarely use headphones. going to post a link to the blocks that are available at dazmode, am i limiting myself to much by wanting to buy one of these waterblocks...
