There is something in the bios, I believe it's called pch (or something like that). I read on another forum that if it's set as 64bit and you're running a 32bit system it'll cause your problem. I disabled it altogether and the problem has been solved. No decrease in performance either...

most big name video programs will handle a function like that. Each peep has their own opinion on which is the best. I like pinnacle studio, but it does take a while to encode. tmpgenc dvd author will also handle your clipping needs, with less flexibility.

office 2007 is simply EXCITING. The table of contents and biography/works cited features alone make it simply amazing. Once you get past the layout, office 2k3 seems almost pathetic.
