The older Mac Minis used Intel CPUs that were based on x86 architecture. The latest Mac Mini has M1 chip and doesn't have a CPU with x86 architecture. How is the software and operating system compatible with the new chip? I just don't get how this architecture works.
Chipset drivers are not like GPU drivers. If I do not install them after installing Windows 10 anew, I don't see any problem like not being able to play games or use GPU based software.
What is the purpose of installing them? They are downloadable from AMD (or Intel) website or motherboard...

Selling Steam account is against Steam ToS, as far as I know.
However, I know that many people trade accounts.
Isn't there a risk that the seller can recover the account by contacting Steam support and providing the following information?:
the first registration email
Credit card information...
I never owned a gaming console. I don't know much about them.
In PCs, you can run whatever code or software you want on your PC. This allows you to cheat on video games, even online.
Some people even use hardware based cheats on PCs, such as PCIeScreamer (to read or write computer memory) or...
I am considering to switch to 9900k + 2080 Ti from R7 1700 + 1080 Ti build. I think I will overclock both GPU and CPU. I have a Seasonic 650w Focus+. Can my PSU handle it?
My build will be like:
i9 9900k
RTX 2080 Ti
G.SKILL Trident Z 3200MHz C14
WD 1 TB Black + Samsung 850 Evo 1TB SSD +...
I could not be happier :D :D :D

Years ago, I used to keep hearing this. I should recharge my brand new phone's battery only after the battery is 0% (completely consumed). Is this true? Maybe not true for today's smart phones. What do you recommend? Any research done on this? What are your experiences?

If this leak is true, I will stay away from AMD forever and ever. I will sell my Ryzen 1700 right away. Sorry AMD.
I suddenly realized games started running at 60 FPS despite the fact that I have a 165 Hz monitor and that nVidia control center settings are just fine. It just started out of blue and previously there was no such problem. Maybe some Windows update triggered it but I just can't remember what...
Do you remember when Nehalem came out? It was a huge, incredible performance jump. It was crazy. I had bought a complete new system with this chip i7-920 and combined it with an Radeon HD5870. It was Battlefield BC2 and Dirt 2 times, the games were amazing, the weather was amazing and the amount...
As far as I know, lots of new hardware will possibly come up in 2018:
AMD Navi GPUs
Nvidia Volta GPUs
New Intel CPUs (maybe Coffee Lake X, maybe Cannon Lake)
AMD Ryzen Refresh (Pinnacle Ridge)
Quantum Dot and HDR Monitors
Please add more.
I could not be excited more.
I found some of the game developers on Linkedin. These guys worked/are working on some of the games lots of people play, like Battlefield. I really want to give some feedback to these guys as there are complaints about these games, such as heavy stuttering or crash etc.
I find it really useless...
I have an G930 and been using it over 4 years. I plan to keep it until it dies. I'd like to get a recommendation for a new headset just in case. I can spend up to 400$ but I am not sure it would be worth spending that much.
I will primarily use it for gaming and music.
I am not sure if I can...
There are two 8pin sockets on Asus Rampage VI Apex.
1.) Are both of them for CPU?
2.) Do PSUs provide dual 8pin? If my PSU (Seasonic Focus Plus 650W) does not support it, what can I do?
It might be a placebo that Dirt 2 looks better than newer Dirt games.:):) Nevertheless, I wanted to ask you. Is this the case for you as well? Does anyone else who feel the same?
The lighting in the game Dirt 2 could make it look more shiny as compared to other Dirt games so it looks better...
I currently have an PG278QR TN panel. It is a Gsync 165Hz 1440p monitor. I used my brother's IPS and loved how better it looked. It has an annoying backlight and IPS glow but it still looks great.
What do you think? Would be worth from changing PG278QR to PG279Q? Or should I wait for Gsync HDR...
Hello,
I am disappointed with my Ryzen 1700. I lost the silicon lottery and got a bad CPU. It does not overclock well. I am stuck with 3700MHz. With Nzxt Kraken x62, it is 45°C at idle and 75°C under load. My vcore is 1.25v. With anything less this vcore, the system is not stable. CPU Load line...
