Yea name = Nvme didn't catch my computer auto correcting it. Sorry. On my hwinfo 64 it lists temp1 which is 50c and looks fine to me but there is a second temp for that drive which is showing 76c the whole time. Ill try to grab a screen shot when I get home. ITs the same with my mb most of the...
Prob not the right spot to ask but since so many folk here use it I had a few questions on hwinfo. Whey you guys are measuring the temp of an name drive are you looking at drive temp 1 or two? They seem to be very different on my box and I'm not sure which is more important. Also for mb...
It seems like ram prices are going up right now so im going to stick with the shody Samsung ram i have for a bit. I thin kthis Trident one is the one ill eventually get. That or corsair LPX
Yea i'm using the Asrock x370 mini itx board. 3200 will only hit 2999 on that board. Right now i got it loaded with some super cheap samsung ram i took from a broken HP.
Its worth playing with. It works more like reprogramming the xfr settings than a traditional overclock since it wont run at the specified speed unless needed and cooling is up to snuff. It doesn't seen to work correctly under windows 7 despite offering a download for windows 7.
I don't think it will matter but I'd still like to see a pic of the mod. Either way I will be away from my computer most of tomorrow and will send payment Monday if I get the pic and payment details.
Yea thats the route i wound up going. The Phanteks one has a 13mm gap to squeeze a fan below the heat sink. I'm just not sure its worth the modding effort or waiting for them to send me the AM4 bracket. They did claim that it can passively cool a r5 1600 though.
I'm torn between the l9a which i know is a great cooler and something like the PH-TC12LS which will barely fit without a top fan. I think i can runn the 12LS passive if i stick to stock. Also trying to figure out i i can squeeze a fan under the heatsink.
At the moment is there a better option than the nh-l9a for an AM4 board? Since i know Dan takes time to ensure the quality of his products I want something as a place holder cooler.
