Hello to everybody, so did it. I backed up everything and I had to format the disk array to a 64KB Cluster size. And then I tried to initialize the new disk and after a week of migration I extended the partition with another full 10TB (9.3TB) and everything is fine :) Now I run on Raid6 and 7...

and still remember what stripe size should I choose? somewhere they wrote that the ideal size is to make the cluster size = strip size?

Thank you, and it is better to choose 32KB Cluster in windows or rather 64KB. colleague above thinks stripe size. 128 KB cluster cannot be created under Windows.

I've already backed up.... What happens if I complete format an old array but a cluster size of 32 or 64KB. Will I be able to add another drive in the future and then simply expand the existing array formated to 32 or 64KB?
