I think this is a point some people miss when they say they don't have a 4k TV. There are still benefits to owning an Xbox One X even if you don't have a 4k TV. We all know there are plenty of people who didn't buy the original Xbox One. Perhaps now is the time.

I personally love seeing movies in 3D. I believe it may do the opposite for the industry. It's just as easy to stop supporting IMAX as it is for them to stop supporting 3D. Somehow I see ticket prices going up even with the removal of 3D. This looks like laziness on IMAX's part.

The out of box experience you get for $500 is unmatched. I believe Microsoft believes when it releases the performance will speak for itself. It's not a PC, it's a great gaming experience for it's price. Plus it plays UHD Blu-rays.
