This maybe kind of unrelated, but I am experiencing terrible noise coming from my speakers with my Ncase build. I have my PC connected to my receiver and TV both via HDMI, but whenever the GPU is under load I get this horrible noise coming from my speakers, this also happens from my motherboards...
Finished my NCASE M1 build a few days ago, have been benchmarking and tuning for the last couple of days and decided to share my findings:
My specs are:
Ryzen 5 [email protected]/1.3125v
Fractal Design Celsius S24 AIO
Asrock AB350 ITX motherboard
Asus GTX 1080Ti Strix
16GB 3200 DDR4 RAM
Corsair...
Just finished my M1 build, everythings fine except the AIO pump is making a "ticking" noise all the time, this noise however goes away if I slightly tilt the case to either side. Could it be there are some air bubbles in the loop that are causing the noise?
Looks like the Kelvin is not available anymore so that is not an option. I base the Celsius's silence on reviews, which all seem to say it is one of the most silent AIOs. One other option I was looking at was the Alphacool Eisbaer, but that had pretty stiff looking cables and a big pump, also...
Thanks for the advice, I am mostly interested in the Celsius S24 because of its silence, I doubt I will expand the loop in the future so that is not a concern for me. I too was waiting for Vega before committing to a build but unfortunately Vega didn't really deliver where it matters to me which...
On Monday I will place an order for all the parts of my Ncase M1 build, however I wanted to ask your opinions on the best radiator/airflow configuration. My specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 1700
CPU cooler: Fractal Design Celsius S24 AIO
GPU: Asus GTX 1080Ti Strix
2x Noctua NF-A12x15 as bottom intakes for...
Anyone here with an Asus GTX 1080Ti Strix in the Ncase? I know the non-Ti 1080 fits with 2 bottom fans installed, but as the 1080Ti is 0.5" or 1 cm thicker than the non-Ti I am worried my 2 Corsair ML120s will not fit with the 1080Ti Strix.
Just found out that my M1 has arrived at Finnish customs, 4 days from Taiwan to Finland is very impressive. For those of you who paid taxes for your M1, does the included invoice on the box still say about 90 USD as the declared value of the case?
In my opinion increasing the width by 4mm in order to fit a 65mm CPU cooler like the Noctua would be a very worthy compromise, sacrificing just a little bit of volume to accommodate larger CPU coolers will surely get enthusiasts more interested in the Ghost.
For those wondering about the lack of updates, the team has moved all discussion and updates to a Facebook group "GhostS1Reboot", for Kickstarter backers, for the time being, and they will post updates to different forums when they are finished with the new updated case design, so if you are...
Following a possibly successful Kickstarter campaign how long do you estimate it takes for you to produce a batch of finished cases? For the Dan A4 Dondan has said it takes 5-6 months, which is a little too long of a wait for me.
I know this might be too early but do you have a rough timeline in your mind already for the new Kickstarter? Maybe in the next few months, however there will the second Dan A4 Kickstarter end of May which will no doubt attract many potential buyers.
I wonder how long it takes for a new Kickstarter campaign, I will build my Ryzen/Vega system in the summer and I guess this new campaign will not be online by then, a shame this didn't work out but I hope they prepare better for the next one!
I don't want to sound negative but a small Swedish review in 2 weeks will be too little too late I fear, I really think you need to go bigger and sooner to meet your goal, like many have said before a fast delivery of a case to LinusTechTips or HardwareCanucks could give you the media exposure...
Also you should add your temperature and noise level test results to the campaign page, many people are asking for the performance of the case regarding temperature and noise which could really help potential buyers decide to back this.
Backer number #18, like others I really hope you meet your very ambitious goal, however you really should send out cases to some popular Youtubers like LinusTechTips and HardwareCanucks who arguably helped the Dan A4 campaign tremendously.
I mean from an example configuration, like a 7700k and a GTX 1070 or something lower specced, just to give people some idea of the performance of the case.
On the Kickstarter page there should be details of noise and temperature levels of the case, and also a list of recommended CPU coolers would be appreciated.
Regarding the cpu cooler height, when using a maximum height cpu cooler like the Noctua L9x65 (65mm), how much clearance is there between the cooler and the side panel? I know from the Dan A4 thread that when using max height cooler (47mm) there is only 1mm or so clearance between the cooler and...
