Yeah in store. I delivered like 150 Xboxes to my local GameStop two weeks ago and the manager said they were all for last Thursday and told me that was going on at all the GameStops. Just passing it along.
I haven't had any power supply issues. If I do I guess I'll upgrade the psu. I did find a solution for the lg CX. In settings -> general -> additional settings -> power saving mode their is an option HDD power saving mode. I turned this off and now I get a picture on the initial startup. Must...
Switching to an app and back doesn't work. I don't have anything else plugged in to one of the other HDMI inputs. I could go dig up an old blu-ray player to test out. Probably better than hard resetting my computer every day.
I can't find any way to turn this off and my quick search doesn't...
Finished setting up my new 10900k and rtx 3080 last week. It's awesome paired with my lg oled. That screen with the new card is one of the biggest improvements to gaming I've ever experienced.
But when I initially boot the computer the video will output the bios screen but when entering windows...
Are their any other options that will give surround sound though? I'm running an optical cable to my receiver right now and it's alright. Just no surround sound.
Hopefully eArc will improve in the future and become actually viable.
It was the cable. I ordered two 6' monoprice cables that claimed 8k for cheap on Amazon and neither would support anything other than 4k 60hz 8 bit color. Raising any of those settings would fail. The forty dollar 4' cable from best buy is working great. Playing Metro Exodus Enhanced in 4k with...
I got my Asus tuf 3080 Wednesday. Paid $1500 for it. I've got it hooked up to my lg oled but guess what? The freaking HDMI cable I paid extra for for the "8k certified" doesn't have the bandwidth to run 4k 120hz 10 bit color! So I'll have to go to best buy later today.
So wait in line for like twenty hours to maybe get a card at msrp? I can work twenty extra hours and just buy a scalper card. Which I just did since my 2070 just died a few days ago after my wife knocked my computer tower over trying to dust while nine months pregnant. Scalpers finally got me...
Nope. I gave up months ago. I would have gotten a PS5 but can't find that either. Perhaps I'll be able to pick up a PS5 for Christmas but I'm just not interested in the video card anymore.
I couldn't stand RDR2. Paid full price for it and played less than ten hours before uninstalling. Fallout 4 was good fun. I got into building houses and settlements though and that sucked up so much of my time that by the time I went back to the story I forgot what I was doing and just stopped...
If only people knew what their boxes could go through.
Back when I first started at ups one day they put me loading trailers. So I stood under a conveyer belt that was about fifteen feet in the air and ended at a metal chute. The boxes fell from this metal chute into a big pile. I was told to...
Wow it said add to cart but then never worked. Good thing I stopped caring months ago and have just stopped playing PC games. Well off to go play frisbee golf!
I won't give them any more money but I started playing at my local card shop when I was eleven. In beta. I've sold over ten thousand dollars worth of my old paper cards, have about ten thousand dollars more that I just keep in boxes and plan to give to my kids, and back in my teenage years I...
Sorry about that it's been a stressful peak season. If you see one of us driving through the neighborhood though and you want your box just wave us down. Happens all the time.
I wanted a 3080 but months later I still can't get one. I was going to buy whatever I could get from amd and so I did, which is nothing. Now I've lost interest.
I'm using an 8600k and rtx 2700 with a 65" cx monitor at 4k. It's fine but I have to reduce settings. Control was awesome with ray tracing and DLSS and I play a lot of total war Warhammer with a lot of settings reduced. I'm looking to upgrade to a 3080 but I work for a living so I can't sit...
I've been trying to get a 3080 since release day. But I've got a family, I work 60 hours a week, and I have other hobbies than video games. I can't sit around on discord servers for the five second window to buy one. If I can buy an amd card, 6800xt or 6900xt by logging in somewhere and giving...
I should just take the time to set one up. At least all those discs won't be useless. The toddlers love to throw them everywhere I guess they aren't useless.
I actually had unlimited until about three years ago when Comcast or whatever they renamed themselves to now got rid of it unless I got...
I only have Amazon prime now. I have a fairly large collection of shows and movies I've purchased. I've given up on blu-ray even though I've got about two hundred discs. I've gone through over ten blu-ray players now. They just stop working constantly. Last one I tried was a Ps4. Which I had to...
Hmm. I've got a 7.1 surround system but the only game I've played that actually supported it was Witcher 3 (and it was freaking awesome). Maybe I'll just wait and get an AVR with that eARC thing. Once the chips all are in play and I can find one that will actually do 4k120.
Well I have a good job but I'm not going to sit around for the five second window to buy a 3080. Instead I'll just wait a month and buy one after amd releases their inevitably lackluster card. Nvidia I got money, sell me a 3080!
Also props to LG now I can run this at 4k 120hz gsync 10 bit...
I've been looking around at how to set up my 2070 with gsync now that I've got a gsync monitor. All the instructions say to go to the Nvidia settings and enable gsync but the option does not appear for me. Does anyone know where this option went?
Thx
I got my 65" CX today, it's set up, did a movie night with the wife and a grandpa babysitter for the kids. Got my 7 1 surround system rocking, ordered a 9900k to upgrade my 8600k. I can run Control at 4k max with DLSS to look around but it's not playable on my 2070.
Come on Nvidia sell me a...
