This specifically i have not been able to get working on the CX48. Do you know some secret magic trick ? These resolutions always scale to fullscreen, even though i set all settings in NVCP as they should be. Scaling off and perform scaling on GPU and so forth.
I have a Philips OLED in my livingroom and the screenshift moves the picture a couple of pixels left and right every once in a while. My LG CX in the bedroom just seems to "zoom in" 1 pixel, so i believe it uses some other method. Since on my Philips i have still see my entire cursor in the top...
Meh, those support reps typically dont know enough to answer deep firmware related questions like that. Lets see what happens in the next couple weeks. LG said they would fix it.
I still dont get why you would buy 3 of these instead of a kickass VR setup. Seems like a no brainer for Sim pits, where you can look around and really feel like you are in the game :)
Ooooooh that explains it all :O i have been alternating between the HDMI cable to my livingroom OLED and this tv to couchgame from the single HDMI output on my Graphics card....cannot wait for the custom board 3080s with 2xHDMI....
Anyone else experiencing the PC icon being reset back to the HDMI icon in the Home Dashboard ? Happens almost everyday now, screwing up my settings, Auto brightness and input latency everytime :(
Anyone managed to get NO SCALING working with this tv ?
I tried turning Scaling Off and when i set the "TV" resolution in NVCP to 1440p 60hz, the image gets scaled "correctly" in the middle of the screen, all pixels correct size and clear.
If i choose the "PC" resolution 1440p@120hz, the size...
Im in the same boat as you and tried to get the NO SCALING resolutions to work last week. No dice. This TV natively supports 1440p 120hz and 1080p 120hz, which means it will scale that to the full panel size regardless of what you set in the NVCP. Only 60hz resolutions will work "correctly" in...
Yeah, the manufacturers have different ways of doing it. I have a Philips OLED in the living room and the Pixel Shift on that cannot even be turned off. They move the picture 5pixel to the right and left alternating, they dont zoome the picture at all.
Yes, the tv will take slighty longer to start up etc, but also consume less power :) I honestly could not tell a big difference (maybe a couple of seconds) between the setting off and on, but i have already raised a ticket with LG to make them aware that 120hz4k "breaks" the Pixel Shift option...
My dudes, i have discovered how to keep Pixel Shift turned off. Go to the Settings -> General -> Additional Settings and turn off "Quick Start+". Now the Pixel Shift button works "as intended" and keeps the setting off when power cycling the TV. Thank goodness i dont have to do that every...
If you turn the rad around 180 so the fittings are facing the mobo, you get alot more tubing to route how you want it. Plus the tubing is no longer blocking the fan airflow.
Dangit, i just installed a custom 3d printed duct as well. Beat me to it ! :D Getting similar results to the Tape Mod i made a couple of pages back. Basically same principle anyway.
Neat one you have there.
Awesome tests ! These pretty much confirms my mod.
I am gonna get my friend to 3d print a custom adaptor for the A4 asap and try for myself on the Ryzen 1700 :D Getting 78c in load on 3500mhz 1.2v right now. Would be nice to go lower. He might even be able to print one that covers almost all of...
Anyone else having trouble with their Corsair SF600 PSU ?
Mine seems to never stop spinning the fan, even though it is pulling fresh cold air from the outside.
When i start the pc in the morning, it is silent.
After a simple gaming session it have ramped to over 2000rpm and never goes down...
Yes, you are correct. I believe that was the entire point i was trying to make by making this mod. To not suck hot air back in.
Also no. The stock cooler for the Gigabyte is 3 noisy 90mm coolers.
Well, "instantly" was clearly an overstatement on my part. I apologize. It kept going up until 90 and did not show any signs of stopping, so i stopped the stress test, before the board shut down because of temp limits.
But the guy you linked before is testing on an open air bench on his table...
I am running Asrock X370 Fata1ty Gaming itx/ac with 3.5ghz on all cores at 1.2v. Planning on going higher, if i get a better duct. Maybe that bitspower one.
This! This is similar to what i have been talking about this entire time, i was just too lazy to take a pic of my own setup :P
If Mirgus wants an easy duct, just use thick foam tape like me and tape around the frame of the fan, not on the top side facing the panel.
That does the trick for me and only takes 10 seconds to do, if you have thick tape lying around.
Did it for the GPU too and it worked also.
I tried making...
Not an issue here at home.
(You cant see it on the pictures) I have made a custom plexi sidepanel facing the wall with the CPU hole completely cut out and covering the rest like i showed on the previous pictures. So no turbulence at home.
But Mirgus, why wont the x25 fan fit the C7 ? Will it...
That is why my suggestion requires a fan duct, also made out of tape, just for proof of concept. A sturdier duct can be added later.
Sweet ! Thats so nice to see !
Also, does an A9x25 fit in the A4 ? If that is the case, i want that instead of the x14, just for the bigger fins.
Are you able...
Hey Guys !
Im back with another status update for my Dan build. Last time i got my Noctua fans mounted on CPU and GPU.
Since then i have been hard at work to get my GPU and CPU at the best possible temp.
I kept running into throttling issues on my 1080ti and the Ryzen 1700 boiled up to...
Hey guys !
So, i am really excited to share my Gigabyte 1080ti Gaming Noctua fan mod with you guys.
For those of you who don't know, i have the 2 slot 1080ti Gaming OC from Gigabyte in the Dan, as i was impatient and the only thing that fit at the time (ironically, i only got the guts for the...
Hey guys, i just stumbled upon this article. Does anyone think watercooling in this case would be possible with a card like this ?
