gtx 1080 came out of the prev rig , but will upgrade to x5800 or x5900 in a few months
i have a gigabyte mini itx x570 and have removed the chipset fan . i'm running an aorus M2 gen4 ssd aswell ,
they get cooled by a noctua NH14S dual fan , chipsets temps hover between 40 and 55 degrees while gaming . with stock fan it was way higher ;)
i partly solved the problem and used the original backplate , ive used the oem screws from two two plastic halves and put them with washers into the blackridge brackets . this way the cooler is fastened properly onto the mobo .
you also bend your mobo way less the tricky parts is to fasten the...
hello all ,
ive made a new build yesterday , with an 3700x , aorus x570 mobo , aorus gen4 M.2 ,corsair lpx and gtx1080 .
as a cooler ive used the alpenfohn blackridge .
trying to mount the cooler on that mobo seemed to be real horror . the supplied AM4 mounting brackets and screws dont fit...
i want to see up to this day who would notice the difference between those ramspeeds in games and or everyday workloads .
if you want to benchmark and numbers mean anything to you should really do it :D
intel isnt bothered by amd's potential uprise on cpu side , just check both companies revenues . intel is about ten times bigger .
Amd might have a better product on their hands for now , the upcomming weeks will prove it or not . i'm leaning back to amd since the A64 .
after that i had C2d and...
AMD will be doing rays whenever the market's up for it .
even the 2080ti cant do current titles in full raytracing mode . it will have to get better by many factors .
its being said , you have to start somewhere , just like AA was a huge performance hit when it came out .
yeah like most people have that in their garage :D , and for you 120'ers its up to 80 amps :) good luck pulling that through a type A socket .
if your down to 16 amps a typical 100kWh charge might take days :s
as for all EV's battery tech still sucks as for today , they all work with CC/CV principle ,
so a 80 to 100 percent charge it still quite slow . they can supercharge the way they want ,
who has a 250kW capability in his house ?? . and their 250kW charge is only in the first minutes of the...
well solar panels arent dug up from the soil , it takes a lot of processing plants and manufacturing plants to get the refined stuff , those are CERTAINLY not green .
plus their 870Kw supply wont be there all the time , so the grid has to kick in many times ;)
"Electricity to charge the Tesla will come at no cost to Fremont, as the department has 872 kilowatts worth of solar power at its headquarters."
while the US grid runs for 75 percent or more on combustible resources , production and decommisioning of such cars and solar panels is actually...
i think one question that i saw come up over and over , when you read the first line in this topic you would know it makes the chime when turned on ! lol
they might not have the greatest products , they for sure have the best marketeers . convincing people to buy or upgrade what they actually do not need is quite genious
other than the 6x86 being slow in games , it was stable and could run without a cooler :D
could never compete in games with intel P1 , just as K6-2/3 did with P2 . Never had stability issues with them also
cracks are present from day one , especially those with an already long service life , its the way those vessels were made .
for 40 years nobody ever cared about them , neither have they ever caused a problem , till they start scanning their vessels
Had a amd 486 @ 80Mhz , just did 120Mhz without any sweat ,
A celeron 633 did just over a GHz , was the first Ghz cpu in our club @ th etime .
a c2d 2.4 did 3.6 no problem .
nowadays i dont oc anymore just 3770k rocking at stock settings .
Apple craves for BIG data :D they want to know everything at anytime from its users , its only a matter of time before you will see the same on android systems
what a stupid robot , running between two walls :D .
AI always depends on code you've put into , it will always be a step or few steps behind compared to our brain .
You're right its way faster in doing stupid things , just as a computer . But in ways of flexibility and adaptation its lightyears...
