DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Hi Dan. I've just ordered 2 laser cut windows for the v4 case, and I'm wondering how long the m3 screw threads should be? Also, I'd recommend you upload the window file as a 2007 dxf file instead, as that is the only format Ponoko accepts. It's a popular and more than a century old site for...

Hollywood Fights Billionaire's Plan to Let You Rent Movies Still in Theaters for $50

My last experience was watching the new fast and furious movie on premier day. Everybody was very loud, and a guy 2 rows in front of the reeked so bad I wanted to puke the entire time. I dont think ill be going again soon. Id gladly pay 100$ to rent a movie for a night instead.

WOW, that is the craziest motherboard I've ever seen! XD

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Just a hint, using a slim fan on top didnt give me a measureable difference. And i used the fw121 from Silverstone. The included 140mm fan does an incredible job alone!

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I'd recommend the nh-c14s combined with an sfx to atx mounting bracket to allow the included 140mm fan to be mounted under the heatsink. I've had great results with this setup :)

Incase anyone missed it, Noctua came out with a 120mm x 15mm fan! http://noctua.at/en/nf-a12x15-pwm

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Why dont you just use the original 140mm fan that came with the c14s under the heatsink, thats what i did. You do have to place the psu in the atx psu spot, but beyond that its very easy to install, and performs soooo quiet.

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

Nah man, I ain't getting this case if there is no proper solution.

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

Is there exactly 65.32mm space for the cpu cooler? Because that is going to cause a huge amount of turbolence with the nh-l9x65. Dancase had this problem, but with the c7 from cryorig instead. There was effectively zero clearance which made the case sound like a weird cross between a jet engine...

No, you need to go on a plane to linustechtips HQ and kick his door in right now. You got no time to waste.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Sure it is, with a humongus hole in the sidepanel I'm sure it's gonna work.

Noctua is like the jonnyguru of cpu cooling, whatever they say is right, even if it is wrong.

How the heck are you gonna place the gpu like that? Are you gonna twist the shit out of a pcie cable?

Small form chassis that fit 1080Ti?

I'd watercool in a ncase m1 with a pump and res bay combo in the bottom, and a 240mm x 30mm radiator on the side cooling both cpu and gpu. This way you'd have proper cooling and very acceptabel noise levels, you wont achieve this in any case smaller.

GHOST S1 - When both size & performance matters

i showed a picture of this case to my friend, and the first thing he asked was "whats special about it?". He could not see that this was no ordinary size case. This is because you dont have everyday objects like a cocacola can in the pictures that everybody knows the dimensions of. The...

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

You should install taller feet, to give the fan on the radiator some breathing room. I really wished you would have tried the radiator outside the case without delid first, those results could have been quite important. But hopefully Dan will deliver this :)

    DAN HSLP-48: A powerful sub 50mm heatsink

V2 will support watercooling from my understanding. Is there much point in producing this unit knowing it will be obsolete soon?

How does cutting something off the core improve performances? I dont get it.

The next NCASE project: a Steam Machine-style case (indeterminate)

This may already have been answered, but why dont you just flip the GPU so it sucks air from the top instead? that would allow for smaller feet too. Also I would not buy this case if it has components outside the case, I hate powerbricks.

DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

They tested the cpu at a certain speed at a set frequency, to prove it perfoms good after delid. It's quality management. What this gives you is a chip garaunteed to run at a certain overclock, and you avoid the hassle of delidding yourself.

Very nice. What watercooling configuration did you use? 240mm rad cooling both cpu and gpu?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Guys with problems with thr sf600, how do you measure the noise of the psu, did you just listen? Because if you did this, then what you heard could very likely be a GPU or another component, they spin op and down like you describe. I have an sf600 and when i turn of every other fan in the...

I don't have one yet, I was just planning to call their office in germany and ask if they could send me one. EDIT: Found it here: https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info.php?products_id=2355 Just ordered one myself.

Thanks for taking your time :) What I have planned for the pump is the following: 21mm tall Alphacool Laing DDC310 20mm tall top aquacomputer aquacover DDC 4mm tall G1/4 plug Thats a total of 45mm, so it should fit right?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I finally landed a job in my field, and I'm now looking into upgrading to a gtx 1080ti and a 7700k, and I also want to custom watercool both cpu and gpu. For this I'm planning to place a DDC pump in the bottom of the case. However space is tight down there so therefore I got a few questions to...

TINY ATX: Sub 20L gaming case project

Update: Added a render with a CPU cooler similar to the Noctua NH-D15. I'm considering just going with only supporting aircooling so a big tempered glass panel would be possible. Let me know if there is a certain angle you want a picture of :)

TINY ATX: Sub 20L gaming case project

Theres another factor too, my less fortunate friends buy used pc parts to save money. However, the parts are always atx size, which makes it very hard to shop around for ITX components. About price, I want this case to be as cheap as possible, I don't want any profit, and whoever decides to use...

TINY ATX: Sub 20L gaming case project

No your right, you can fit that cooler. You just cant do that at the same time as having a radiator on top. I just thought that would be very obvoius, my bad.

TINY ATX: Sub 20L gaming case project

You want to aircool cpu and watercool gpu with a 240mm radiator? In that case I'd recommend you watercool both instead, would be cheaper and yeld better results.
