I think this will do great, cooling shouldnt be much of a problem. The MXM cards are the same that laptop companies have been using. This has a good amount of space for cooling.
m1runner is right, it works with anything really, but it does block fans from being used in the bottom. But then I noticed no change from when I had fans down there to now with out fans temp wise.
for me it was a cross between eye candy and helps when moving the case around with those...
Not yet but I do have some slim 120s laying around.
Not sure why my GPU his hotter than the CPU, but they stay really low and silent so I'm not concerned.
After much pain and work, I have finished my hardlined m1.

Thanks, the fan hub is the Asus fan card. I cut some aluminium stock, then double sided taped the aluminum to the case. The fan hub is then screwed into the aluminum bar.

Going to get some better pictures, but I picked up some of the mnpctech feet and GPU support. I sprang for the sli GPU supports as they are not as tall as the other ones. The regular one wouldn't fit due to my fittings being the way, the sli one though fits like a dream.
Gives the 3rd pci...
It could be a trick to get you into 1000, but I dont think it is. The company may have a min order on those zippers that they need to make in order to get a good price on them.
Ask them if they have a min zipper order, and see if you can just get more zippers than you need and pass the cost...
Has anyone made any 3d printed stuff for this case?
thinking it would be pretty cool to have a database of 3d printed parts for our cases.
Since the part selection is pretty limited, many of us use the same or similar components, the 3d prints could be pretty universal.
Yes, that is the idea I was thinking would be cool. ncase could make a simple led bar (frosted plexi with 2 rgb leds on each end) that simply screws in above the IO.
Then it would be up to the user to figure out a hookup for it if they want color based on temp, or if they just wanted a static...
I always thought that having a rgb light right above the power switch and IO on the front would be nice. Something that illuminates the IO on the front, but allows you to set it cpu temp would be nice.
You wouldnt see the lights, or have any changes to the case, but rather the LED shines down...
I like the idea of allowing water cooling support for this case..... but I have one issue with it.
When traveling on a airplane you are limited to 3.4 oz of liquid on carry on bags. If you are traveling with a water cooled computer, you may have to drain the loop prior to travel unless you...
I have a pair of 850 evo 500gb ssds in my ncase m1 (soon to be 4). The actual ssd inside the housing is less than half the size of the 2.5 inch drive.
So I am thinking of taking the ssds to the chop saw (after removing the ssd from inside the case) and cutting them down to half the size. This...
Necere, yes I can move the radiator over, but I already hardlined it :(
I thought putting the SSD in the basement would be OK, but I want the fans now.
I would like to see some other options for mounts ssds..
The way mine is set up, I cant use either front ssd mount (dvd drive, and radiator blocking) So I have my ssds mounted in the bottom... but I want to put some fans down there.
Can we get the rear mounted ssd holder? Something that...
I think the whole egpu thing is for people who want a laptop to bring with them, then just plug it in at home to game. No need to have two computers.
If I didn't have a nice desktop, I would be all over a blade stealth with the core. But I have a desktop.
I still like the idea of having one...
Lol, I was just looking at the hue today for ncase m1 fitment....
I think if you take it apart it might fit behind the front panel. Im ordering one next week, and can let you know where it can fit.
Same way its normally done when bending by hand. Put a silicone hose in, then heat it all up and put it into the form
I think one way to make it nice and easy would be to 3d print the bend forms, then 3d print lengths of straight forms.
cutting and trimming the straight forms till you have a...
I redid my loop last week to include my new gpu waterblock.
Some of the pipes are not 100% perfect, but I got the concept of how I want my lines to be set.
I may replace all the lines again in the near future when I can find a way to make them perfect.
I may get all my measurements perfect...
What I did with mine, was I took the extension lead the impact viii comes with, removed each pin from it and put in the ncase front panel pins into it.
This made sure I had the right plugs in the right spots, but also changed from having 4 separate plugs to a single big plug for ease of use.
On my asrock z77e itx board I used a mpcie to pcie x1 adapter to run a sound card with my gpu. Worked pretty good, but I wanted my wifi more than a sound card.
Yea not sure what will be the best for temps. I will try both as a exhaust and a intake.
I think the Y might work well as long as it doesn't interfere with my coolant lines.
I think I'm definitely going to at least give it a try, but with my SFX PSU outside the case before I spend the money on the 1u PSU.
I matched up a fan and radiator I had laying around and it fits with alot of space between the 2 radiators.
thanks, guess I dont need that 4 pin
hmmm, voltage check could be
This is actually a error in the manual :( I plugged the temp sensor into what they say is the temp sensor, doesnt work. SO I googled it and found its actually the 2 pins below what they call the temp sensor thats actually...
