Yes, per section 13c of their terms they can deduct what you paid for any limited quantity or exclusive items bought while this is active from the refund, basically meaning you don’t get anything since these were rather expensive.
As for the warranty most credit cards have some form of extended...
Twenty years ago 3dfx was lost, leaving just nvidia and ati. There were rumors of a super card to give us another option from matrox. People had a lot of hopes for that card and the parhelia was a horrible disappointment. Feels like that.
I feel old now.
Value to me is the founders 3080. Happy day that was announced. Faster speeds and reasonable pricing. So innocent back then.
If everything was MSRP then yes it’s horrible. Yet people camped overnight to get the chance at a founders version. The strange ones to me spend $2200 on the aftermarket...
7:23 notify time, got my email an hour ago. 20% off from the wheel and 3% from associate code for $313 off.
Friend got a 40% code, but I can’t complain.
it’s not so much a dumpster fire for what it does, its a dumpster fire for value. If cards were in plentiful supply then this would be a laughable launch. Sadly we live in a world where people pay $2500 for a 3080, so value is completely out the window.
I was excited until I realized it would probably be about $1450 for the ftw3, which makes the 3090 fe a bargain. Then again I’m apparently living in a fairy land where these cards are readily available and prices actually matter.
The thought of $1k or even $1.1k had me excited, but now it’s more debatable to get it or the 3090. Might just do the extra $300 for double memory and make up for it with the last gasp of etherium before July.
They have made this die for nearly three years and apart from it being hilariously power hungry and desperate nothing is stopping them from using the XCC dies on X299 which is what it is rumored to use.
Intel getting into the game to me is like when about the time these came out everyone was cheering for the Parhelia from matrox to be the greatest thing and to sadly be a horrible gaming disappointment. Man I’m old.
The macho is roughly even with a nh-d15, shorter for better case compatibility but a pain to install. Had it happily cooling a 7980xe.
If you aren’t moving it, size and weight won’t matter. It will outperform a true spirit, but not by very much, so use what you want.
Most don’t have the HCC variants because if they are gaming the LCC ones are fine and for productivity threadripper is cheaper. That said if you will use it, get what you want.
The nh-d15 is fine for that chip without any overclocks (220W TDP). Also take a look at the le grand macho (300W TDP)...
That message was stating the bios was corrupted and it’s copying the backup to main. At least that’s what some of the older ASRock ones stated. I’d still be a bit worried about the pop and back up everything just in case.
