There's a hack to get these WD controller boards to work with any hard drive.

Had to remove that stupid digital gift from my cart to get it to go through, sales tax didn't show up till I got the email but that was expected. +$10 but still a good deal. If you intend to put these inside your system don't go writing data to them thinking it'll be there when you plug the...
you shouldn't need a setting adjustment but make sure you're using an HDMI cable that is rated for 4k bandwidth.
in the TV menu options make sure your "source" is set to PC which is 4:4:4
The only negative to using the display for gaming is the grey to black delay, some images can leave a ghost like appearance or streak. It doesn't bother me considering the price but I can see it would be a turn off for many.
Many cities currently tax business on their office equipment, I just don't think a tax of this kind would ever supplant the tax income of people who automation replaces. Think about all the office typing pools that were replaced by PC's. Bill didn't seem too concerned about that back in the day.
I would rather use a bluetooth keyboard than a mic, I don't use the smart apps on the one I use for TV watching (60") because the wifi seems rather weak and it's dropped the wifi config information a couple of times now.
The population has perked up but it's still a multiplayer focused game, the SP/co-op stuff is more of a tease and leaves you wishing they had put in some sort of singleplayer campaign, even a really short one.

11k peak is actually good for this game, then again player...
I would probably want to remove all the keys and put them under boiling water just to be on the safe side, the thought of using a keyboard without knowing it's history sort of freaks me out.
Only nit-pick so far is the ghosting issue, hard black shadows tend to streak quite a bit in games. It's just a minor thing, sometimes it's noticeable but for general computing stuff I don't notice it at all.

about a .5 inch black ghosting streak on the...
There's one more DLC yet to be released which will be focused on the new Star Wars movie Rouge One, that might bring back some people but in general the DLC packs don't get much play. They need to release the expansion packs to everyone who bought the game, probably won't do that for another...
Always subjective to personal preferences but my settings in PC mode is

I'm not sure if updating the...
Okay, that explains it because in PC mode I can see the text getting slightly blurry when going to 0.
As for Judder, would it matter if you're playing back video in one of the other modes? In PC mode I'm not seeing any issues when watching 24fps video using smplayer. Automotion Plus is off...
I see people all over the internet making their sharpness setting wrong. 50 is no sharpness effect, 0 is actually de-sharpening the image and above 50 is applying sharpness.
You might not notice the de-sharpening effect unless you have lots of text on the screen, you can really see it on...
No tax either, which is pretty crazy. I've been rechecking their ads waiting for a ku6300 to go on sale, they've listed last years model in their ads but didn't have any stock on anything I would want.
I'm really impressed with the sharpness of 2560x1440, usually non native resolution modes...
Got the card, plugged it in and the rear most fan was making a slight clicking noise. You would have to test the card with the ASUS GPU Tweak II and switch off the "0db fan" mode to turn on the fans, or run something like a game that kicks the fan on. afterwords I discovered you could hear the...
Just trying to figure out if I need to keep my existing 1080 display on standby, it's nothing special for sure VIZIO 37" TV @ 60hz. I've read that if you keep the Samsung in PC mode and try to play games the response time is like driving a tractor. I did the Korean 1440p deal way back when and...
Kind of strange, checked stock last night and it was back in stock so I pulled the trigger. If there's issues with the card does Newegg replace or refund? Never purchased openbox from them before.
