Is there a way to turn off the HP Omen logo/splash screen when you turn the monitor on? It's a small pet peeve, but I would like to turn the monitor on and see the display immediately.

Just for reference. I purchased this monitor at the end of August last year. Which I think is when the Omen first released. My firmware version is AMM111.
I'm waiting until Vega to bother with the freesync hack and to see if I can overclock the monitor. Currently using an old nvidia gpu.
Some more differences. The AOC has a 3 year warranty vs HP's 1 year. Current news show the AOC is priced at 800 euros. No info on US prices yet, but based on the euro price, it may be lower than HP's $1,300.
Has anyone confirmed if this actually supports Freesync LFC tech?
Also, anyone with a AMD card wanna try out the Freesync hack to lower their Freesync minimum range?
