Not sure why more people are not talking about this unless imjust blind.A few weeks back i seen the ryzen got a 30 percent perfomance increase update.The only game i seen tested was rise of tombraider however.Does anyone know if anybody did a a performance review on any other games after the update?

You seen little to no benifit from the 4790k to a 7700k that was a waste of money imo.To official poster your best bet would be to go to a 3770k since you already have the 3570k in there.dont do a complete overhaul for a 10-15 percent increase it is not worth it

I would not at this point upgrade from a 4 core to another 4 core it makes no sense.If you do an upgrade go for a 5820k or something its more future proof as more and more games are starting to take advantage of more then 4 cores.Or wait till august when intels new 6 cores come out.I went from...

I went from an 3570k and got a 3930k just recently and i see a huge difference not in fps there pretty similar i see a big leap in smooth gameplay in every game ive tested on both systems.extra cores do help already people look at fps in benches and dont understand its more about smooth gameplay...

+1 the new standard should be 6 core ive seen to many games use more then 4 core i was in shock when i ran the cpu useage monitor in msi afterburner 5 out of the 6 games i tested used more then 4 cores.it really is time to start thinking about getting away from 4 core if you want any longevity...

I didnt see temps or anything for zen but that is a low stock clock speed im wondering if it runs hot or something i would have expected atleast 3.5 ghz stock for this cpu.the only way ill buy one is if they can hit 4.2 ghz pretty easily otherwize ill stick with my 3930k

3570k is a good cpu even by todays standards i would hardly call it overpriced and you can get used ones on ebay for like 150

Do not upgrade it is a waste of money the 3930k can do everything a 6700k can do.contrary to popular belief having more cores will be better in the long run.I was playing rise of tombraider 2 nights ago and it was using all 6 of my cores so where a 6700k might stutter the 3930k cuts through it...
