So I just finished this last night. Ryzen 1800X on the gigabyte ITX board. I have one of the 9 (?) full copper thermalright prototype coolers modified to fit the new Noctua NF-A12-15 PWM fan.
Also modified to fit was the fan. I had to take .030 of an inch off the left and right sides while also...
So since I have been waiting for M-itx boards to come out for AM4. I have been looking at undervolting for the 1800X.
Then I came across this:
Left side is volts, Top is speed in mhz and the numbers throughout are in watts.
If I can lock in a high of 3.7 ghz @ 1.1 volts, I would be happy...
I replaced the feet with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TX433EY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Don't let the picture fool you, none of mine look anywhere near what the picture shows.
These feet don't contact anything like the stock ones, they are about .100 of an inch...
This is not an issue really, considering how thin the aluminum is and with only 2 screws on each side to hold it down.
If its really bothering you, just take off the top/front and slightly bend that area in by hand.
I have a 1800X in box sitting next to my dancase in box.
I'm also 1 of the 8 lucky guys to have picked up the all copper axp100 cooler which should be here next week.
There seems to be a ton of reviews out that are all over the place. Saw one that was within 5% of 7700k performance gaming, then another 30% lower.
From what it seems like is that motherboards are all over the place with updates and providing subpar performance.
I think this happened with...
I'm doing a Ryzen/Vega build. Cryorig will supply AM4 brackets for their coolers. I don't know about Thermalright yet.
My plan currently is either Cryorig C7 with TY-100 Fan or AXP-100RH modified to have fan in under heatsink.
Or machine my own heatsink design out of copper and slap a fan on top.
My plan was to get the silverstone AR05 and either a NF-A9x14 or NF-F12 iPPC-2000 PWM. I was going to make some nice brackets to support it. Might have to make my own AM4 bracket as well since silverstone announced they wont be making kits for the AR05.
Oh well, the perks of having access to a...
Have been following this case for about a year now.
Backed it 5 mins into it going live on kickstarter for a silver one.
Decided to join the forums for some discussing.
Is an SFX-L PSU being used in the pics Dan took of the case on the website?
Is anyone taking out the dual ssd tray to make...
