Where you can see the entire table top when looking through the bottom of the case from inside. Cables are dangling through the gap onto the table underneath. Doesnt look good at all
Are there plans to close up the open space on the panel where the case feet are or will they be left open? I can’t help but feel that it should be closed off for aesthetic purposes even though i guess no one will look under the case itself
dondan I would suggest you try to smoothen some of the sharp corners a little to make it look classier. Right now the separate front and top panel reduce the look of quality from the case because of the panel gaps/irregularity.
Is there a way to spec the top and front panel such that that are...
Dan, push the system to the max and run an 8700K + 1080ti combo. Most of the people here are power users and would want to know how top tier hardware behaves in a small case with a single 240 or dual 120
I run the L9i fan on the C7 heatsink. Other tests have shown it is superior to the L9i cooler and I have personally verified it is also superior to the LP53
I absolutely agree. I've been running my SF600 in my V1 case for such a long time and it powers a 7700K/1080Ti and here's the number of times I ever heard my PSU fan at all: ZERO. I've been saying SF600s are silent, period, many times, regardless of any reasonable load. But still this myth...
dondan would you consider USB type C instead for the front port of version 3 or do you still think too few motherboards support it? I'm thinking by the time you ship V3 its a safe bet to adopt the new standard
Yes please dondan can we have a render with a 120mm AIO on the CPU and a hybrid 120mm AIO GPU fitted? It will be useful in your promotional material too since I am sure many potential buyers will be wondering if the case can fit dual AIOs
And congratulations on entering the prototype stage...
Wow!! Reunion island! Bonjour!! You’re the first person ive ever heard of from there. I cant imagine how long it must take for items to ship to you. Or how much it must cost to buy PC parts there in a shop even!!
Another of my reposts since the V2 is starting to reach people's hands.
I actually ran a back to back test on my own comparing LP53 copper heatsink with Noctua A9x14 fan vs C7 heatsink with A9x14 fan in the V1
The C7 heatsink beats the LP53 heatsink when directly compared with the fan constant...
Routing it behind the GPU works fine. The card bends only slightly, nothing it can't handle. Alternatively, if you want to avoid this, get a 350mm PCIE cable and run it through the front of the A4 case instead (i.e. behind the case front panel), there is a hole at the top of the front frame you...
Here's a repost of my cable routing and lengths on my V1. 7700K on Asus Strix Z270. I think it should be the same with coffee lake and the asus Z370 which seems to have an identical layout.
Custom cable lengths used are 150mm for the 24 pin ATX cable and 250mm for the 8 pin EPS cable...
you can use one of these which should solve your problem

The truth is even with 90deg connectors it will probably not fit. Your best bet is to dremel a hole through the inner front frame so your PCIE cable can go through it into the GPU power connector. Or just use an FTW3 which will give you 99.999999% of the same performance when used in the Dan A4
I say keep the IO at the side and please, no logo on the case as per your original plan. Maybe if you want you could include a metal backed sticker so people have the option of having it on the case if they want to
Dondan,
Great innovation with the 2.5 slot gpu fitment but do use a single riser cable if possible to keep things simple and reduce cost.
If the rear vents serve no purpose why not have the watercooling cutouts then which actually have a use? I actually think it makes the rear of the case...
I still prefer the right side one because of the added flexibility. Don't quote me on this but I seriously doubt the improved airflow of having fan ducts instead will significantly improve operating temps anyway. Also doubt there is any much of PSU cables blocking the fan with the holes on the...
You can also try using shorter motherboard standoffs. Some of the guys using the V1 case went with 4mm (I think motherboard standoffs) which saved another 3mm or so for the cooler height. But maybe the V2 has fixed standoffs that you cant remove now?
