... since intel was moving away from "tic - toc" production plans, i though this is great i am going for a 1511 socket, so that meant skylake and a z170 and 3 generation of same sockets procesors, ow boy was i wrong. I guess, i will be skipping cannon lake :) since it wont support 1511 on Z170.
i have also found this thread with some possible solutions check it oout:

Here is the driver to a alc1150, i am gona try it when i come home, if this fixes...
I have the same problem with my m5 board, its like a crackling noise i hear in my headphones but only on 1 side. So what i did is i plugged the headphones to the front jacks and fiddled with the audio software, from panel detection and so on, and with the correct combo it complitly stops.

You should try m.2. I've bought an m.2 950 ... and i have it for work files and games, DUDE, loading stuff is so much quicker then SSD. I also bought a msi m5 MB tbecause it has 2x m.2 slots already and boy am i happy, ... soon i am gona buy another 950 maybe even a 512gb one and change system...
Well anyway since ofc rx480 nitro is no where to be seen and also they reported they wont have sandisk on stock, i cancled the disk and rx480 and took 1070 instead ... cuz upgrading 1070 in a few years with maybe another 1070 will be much better then 2 rx480 especialy for 1440p. (division runs...
... i checked my store and basicly, i see the price is prity much the same around 300€, so if they will have long waiting time for rx480 i will just go for 1060 that is in stock.
I see tho 1060 doesnt support sli mode, which is a big downer, since i can pair two 480 and ride them into the...
nice1, nice1 idd. This screen and 120hz will be my next choice in a few years, ...playing quake on that will be sweet. OR by that time i am hoping for sme massive oled deals!! :P
Current market for 120+ hz with hit and miss ips panels, forced me to just go for a tested version with good QC dell 2715 the 1440 one and a rx480 nitro and after a while ill just add another nitro and get the 1080 performance i want.
I did, i am just second guessing myself. I am waiting for the re-stock on mindfactory.
Hopefully that 8 pin connector will also help for a longer lasting system.
I saw sapphire rx480 nitro is supplied with an 8 pin connector, but its priced at around 50€ more, do guyz think its worth it?
Also the two fans setup i think isnt as loud as default amd setting, so that also brings something to the table.
I've made a list of monitors i like and i found some interesting characteristics and I can't figure out what is actually better in term of sharpness and overall visual perception:
1080 on a 25" - 117 ppi with 0.2+ mm point size
1080 on a 27" - 82ppi with 0.1mm point size ??
1440 on a 27" -...
and here i am trying to get 250fps in quake live with my e8400 and 7700. Anyways i also am in the i5 6600 and 390 bandwagon, but i expect substancial price drop of 390 after new tech release. So waiting for that is somewhat rational, no?
