NVIDIA Looks to Gag Journalists with Multi-Year Blanket NDAs

Absolute bullshit. The NDA is public information because Heise posted it. You're stupid. Yes I'm a pimp

NVIDIA Looks to Gag Journalists with Multi-Year Blanket NDAs

Right, the lawyer is paid by nvidia to shill for nvidia because GN signed the NDA. You sound like Alex Jones. Confidential information is clearly explained in the GN video, it's anything NV tells you (NDA signatory) that is confidential. It's not like if you have a passing conversation with an...

NVIDIA Looks to Gag Journalists with Multi-Year Blanket NDAs

You're the one who doesn't understand what's written here, everybody in the industry, their mother, their aunt, their aunt's dog and a fucking lawyer filmed by GN specifically to address this issue confirm that this nothing more than a normal NDA and you people are still harping on about a...

    NVIDIA Starts Disinformation GPP Campaign

Steam doesn't care about GPU usage, you can check that with GPU-Z or Afterburner if you're so inclined. PM me and I can teach you how. You wrote that you wouldn't put it past NV to pay Valve to skew the results, and I think that's one of the most profoundly hilarious and unintelligent comments...

    NVIDIA Starts Disinformation GPP Campaign

I've been prompted for the hardware survery extremely regularly, it definitely isn't the most reliable data in the world but I'm yet to see ONE coherent argument that can justify why such an inherently random and uncontrolled trial can result in such a strong skew towards nvidia.

    NVIDIA Starts Disinformation GPP Campaign

? Nvidia uses the same die across all applications as well? The only split has been for fp64 with the Gx100 dies each generation. This is a moot point. There's nothing in Vega or Polaris that make them better for general compute, as for mining I'm fairly certain AMD's major advantage was...

Maybe AMD paid the AIBs to spin this GPP story? Surely you can't argue with the same sound logic you use in your arguments :)

That's a nice claim. Can you back it up with anything factual ? "If you don't agree with me you're a fucking moron" I do think Monopoly is a fun game, wouldn't say everyone should play it but if you're the kind that enjoys board games it's pretty fun. This seems rather offtopic though.

Well I would argue your comparison is totally moot because nobody is forcing anyone to downgrade anything. Not only that, but the rebates already existing only serves to further enforce the absurdity of your argument. Had the rebates not already existed this would not have been anti-competitive...

So basically you're saying that any incentive whatsoever is anti-competitive? I don't get this. If you're my competitor in this example, nothing is stopping you from signing the same deal I did... And what do you mean an agreement forcing their terms??? Any fucking agreement enforces terms. Am...

Nobody is demanding anything though, it's an incentive. If it's more profitable more me to accept then I will, otherwise I won't. Yeah, AMD has options that trade blows at every price point. That is absolutely 100% correct. Vega 64 LC vs 1080Ti. That's the issue. Vega 64 vs GTX 1080. Vega 56 vs 1070/Ti (not sure about the pricing here, but doesn't matter for the sake of this argument). One GPU covering the market segments...

Accountability is there, but it's disabled for now. It's coming in an RTG patch that will arrive soon I would have been very happy and first in line to buy it if it were good, Vega 56 might just be the saving grace if priced correctly and assuming they all OC similarly and UV etc. If Vega 56...

Did you know that even at 8K, a very high resolution that GCN would typically find advantageous vs lower resolution, it fails to catch up to the measly 11tflops of shader throughput the 1080Ti is rated for ? I don't understand what the problem with stating the obvious is, and considering the...

    AMD Press Conference at Computex

Its far from accurate, but it does give you a very rough estimate of the framerate, you could count the tears frame by frame and get an idea of it lol. Your could also just wait a month :p
  29. Alkaladur

    AMD Press Conference at Computex

Not really, each tear represents the gpu reading a partially written frame from the buffer , so you can at least say that the gpu render x times as many frames in one screen refresh
