Currently I have a sf-450 in the Dan Case. Even though everything is running maxed out. The PSU is the loudest item in the case. Is there a more quiet PSU out there or am I stuck with that loud thing.
So I measured it and its 105mm x 80mm x 15mm. there is a retaining plate halfway across on the frame so that is the max measurements. I don't really think a fan above the mb will fit.
I plan on doing custom, but I was just trying to get the build together. As for a fan I don't think a fan will fit. The space is very limited and the riser card touches the top of the case with its bend. And I wouldnt recommend bending it more. My temps for CPU is 49c on heaven. But I'm rocking...
Finished, haven't ran temps yet. Definitely need to get custom cables for the nest. Very easy to build in. For the fan at the top there is a frame up there don't think you will be able to do to it.
my wife just received it. I hate being at work and not being able to see it. Ill measure tonight. Ill be rocking a :
Gigabyte h170n wifi, i5 6500, 16 gb Ram. 256 m.2, gtx 1080, sf 450watt.
So America here, Ill be receiving my Dan Case today!!!! Not from dan but from another user (shipped from Germany). Ill post pictures as soon as the build is complete this afternoon.
Hey looking to buy an extra dan case. I know he will be selling them on oc U.K. but I might miss out on them. Pm me
If you have an extra, I'll pay a premium for it.
I currently have the c7 cooler, I just purchased the Alpenföhn Silvretta, does anyone have any ideas on temps for this thing? I know Dan said it works in the case. The C7 is constantly at 2k rpms with an i7 6700, even at 60c.
I have the Strix 1080, amazing card, In OC mode heaven says 2100mhz but the strix software is reading 2063mhz, and it only goes up to 68-72c. I had put the card in a Node 202 and the temps skyrocketed to 95c. I think the case blocked some vents or something. Currently its in a Nano S case and...
I don't think he is talking about that bracket, it wouldn't move the card at all. There might be a bracket in the front of the case for a ssd or something.
I know its been beat up alot. I have the strix 1080, and it will not fit in the Ncase, even though they said 12 inches.... Dan will it fit in your case with these dimensions: 11.73 " x 5.28 " x 1.57 " Inch
29.8 x 13.4 x4 Centimeter. I really hope so, its a beautiful card, 2100mhz stable at 70c...
