Also judging by the number of people showing interest in the A4 on auction sites, I'm sure you will find much success with your secund run!

All the reviews I have seen of the sf450 found it was capable of over 500 watts so it should be OK, although this may depend whether you will oc the CPU as well.
This statement feels over-conservative. As the temperature of the gpu inside the a4 sfx is generally going to be within a few degrees of that without a case, I expect gpus to overclock to a similar degrees as what reviewers with open air cases are getting.
Looks like the GB 1070 is available at a discount for those that are interested.

So I won't be the only one using a P8Z77I-Deluxe. Still waiting on something worth upgrading to at a decent price, as I only spend more money on essential parts of my rig, ie. case :p
I have gone through both and the fan on my sf600 turned on even at idle, although my room is relatively hot in summer and I am currently using the rvz02 case (until my a4 sfx arrives) so have no case fans. This was also the case with my sx500 lg. I have however yet to see the sf450 fan turn on...
Judging by the sff review I think your sf600 shouldn't have these problems. On the otherhand my sf600 acted like my previous sx500 lg, where it would turn on after a little while even when the PC is idle once it got a little warm and not turn off again. I thought it could be due to my room...
Sandybridge is over 5 years old and is what I might be using in the case until a decent upgrade is finally released.
On a side note, I hope Linus takes back what he said about open air GPU coolers in this case after testing out the EVGA card in the A4-SFX.
Can't say much about the rpm of the c7, but in this review it handled a 6700k at 1.25v quite well (see the temp chart as main review is about the c1), so at least a small oc should be possible.

Gpu wise, I think the...
Yes, that is what I am trying to point out. The commenters are coming to conclusions about the capabilities of the case while obviously doing 0 research, yet noone points out that this case cannot fit a 65mm cooler.
In the comments people are saying that the 1080 might not fit, but what will not fit is that cooler in the pic, unless he is planning a fanless build which I hope he is not. Dan was saying Linus sourced a C7 from cryorig so I'm not sure what is going on.
That doesn't look like a very high-end...
What GPU will he use? Would be good to see a oversized custom AIB 1080 to show what is possible in this case.
Edit: I hope he plans to put a slim fan on the that CPU heatsink. Would hate for it to overheat just for trying to create a silent build.
Updated OP to reflect info on the zotac 1060 mini. There will be a 3gb and 6gb version. Perhaps the 3gb version is what Nvidia was referring to when they mentioned a msrp of 250 USD...
Although I should have worded that differently, I didn't say slim it down by 2mm, but slim it down so it that the heat pipes are protruding no more than a couple mm. Judging from the pic, the cooler without the protruding heat pipes appears to be no taller than 47mm, hence why it would probably...
Was that him talking about possibly of going to Coolchip to get a slightly shorter version of their 55mm tall Kinetic cooler (if the heat pipes do not protrude from the cooler by more than a couple mm it should fit)?
This may have already been covered, but what is the highest wattage fanless flex atx that will fit in this case? This 240w one might be oversized.

So will they not release that prebuilt cylinder case in the US that comes with a C7? Are they not aware of the demand for the C7? At the very least Cryorig appears to be aware that the C7 performs well in the A4-SFX as per their tweet.
Interestingly I came across recent review where the C7 was...
How about creating a indie high-end SFF consortium and make a plea to Coolchip for a shorter version of their high end cooler? With higher end low profile coolers I'm sure their will be more customers for your cases.
Couldnt you put a 2.5" directly under a radeon nano sized gpu if you moved the gpu to the very top of the case? This would push the height slightly over 180mm though... You could have two mounting points for the pci-e extender cable, 1 for people with a nano sized card, and a 2nd point lower...
On the Coolchip FB, they specifically say "for locked Skylake". There is a larger high end cooler with multiple heat pipes, but the prototype is 55mm tall, so unless the final release is somewhat shorter it looks like it won't fit the A4-SFX.
Maybe an idea for the Hutzy XXS? I double checked the size of the motherboard I/O shield and realised the width I described was probably too short, making it seem more difficult to get down to exactly 3L.
I think an HDPLEX could power the hardware you are looking at for your case, although your...
Taking hints from the Dan A4-SFX, the Hutzy XS and the NFC S4 Mini, I thought an interesting idea for a 3L-ish case would be to make a short version of the Dan A4-SFX, extending length-wise only as far as the mini-ITX motherboard and ITX GPU. You could then move the GPU up about 1cm or so and...
I would expect similar performance and acoustics of that of a reference card (although many ITX cards including this Gigabyte ITX now have a semifanless mode). Larger custom coolers however have larger heatsinks, more fans and additions power connectors etc allowing for more overclocking or a...
Maybe you are confused with the 1080? This is a OC model, and therefore has a higher clock.

I don't think the number in the email will correspond (at least not exactly) to the number printed on the label going on the case, assuming that those who ordered two cases only received one number via email.
Well it looks like the case may now be a little cheaper for some people depending where they live. Hopefully the EURO strengthens before you have to pay for the major expenses.
It might pay to send a reminder email over the weekend to point out that there are only a few days left to order via...
If you want 8tb of space you can get 2*4gb 2.5" drives as per the link below and install them below a SFX (not sfx-l) PSU. Other possibilities are running your 3.5"s in a external NAS or external enclosure of some sort.

There may not be a huge diff in footprint size between the ncase and a4 sfx, but in volume in is closer to a 75% diff (7.25L vs 12.6), which does make it somewhat more mobile.
Despite the native support for water cooling, one other benefits of the a4 sfx that you may have noticed people...
Dan mentioned judging by the dimensions that it should fit. Are you sure it is not the height that conflicts in the ncase? For ncase, height limit is 111mm for longer cards longer than 292mm.
Yes aesthetic wise it is terrible, but at least it is not the worst priced gpu. Dan demonstrated that open air/non-blower coolers to perform better in this case, but maybe his selection is due to lack of reasonably priced AIB boards available at this time, so hopefully he updates this list again...
Once you go black you never go back!
Dan, on another note have you been able to find out any more information about possibly getting a black 3m riser and PCB?
Dan, congratulations on 1500 cases sold on Kickstarter.
It is amazing that virtually all the AIB 1080 cards that are not more than a few mm wider than double slot fit in this case (assuming that MSI gaming work with right angled power connectors). One thing that is on a few peoples minds is...
