this is a viewsonic vg180, it is discontinued and probably needs a new backlight. the backlight in it now works, but its darker on the top than on the bottom. its usable (i use it as a tv) but to be crisp ,like a new one, it would need to be replaced. Viewsonic page on the vg180...
